scribo
This is exactly the type of signing we should expect. A solid, reliable player who believes in the process. He could likely go elsewhere and shoot for much bigger stats. But he's willing to play his role and watch LBs rack up tackles. The Panthers picked up his fifth-year option, so they valued him when McD was running their D. The most encouraging thing here is that the coaches and GM who knows him best are ours. Very low risk. Not a huge fan of the signing but I guess that depends on how much they are going to pay him. 5-6 mill decent signing 7-10 gonna need a barf bag. Hopefully im wrong and he shows something

Obviously the proof will be in the pudding (though we got some decent playoff pudding in year 1), but at least this is an organization we can feel good about TRYING to get better. Well we did spend $91MM in one free agency period under Whaley.

He has played two seasons since that and I personally think a lot of people on here are just parroting what they have heard PFF say. ChevyVanMiller
I really believe that we have one of the top GMs in the league. He is very methodically positioning us to have a SB contending team year after year. Can't wait for the draft to see the centerpiece jewel of the NFL crown he is building.

jdonley1180
how can anyone be upset about this signing. Our run defense was putrid after it was obvious to Dareus that he was on the outside looking in. Both Beane and McDermott know exactly what they're getting in Lutulelei. Beane has made it a point to shed the large contracts of unproductive players that don't fit the process. So I trust that this is a good move for the organization, regardless of contract size.

I really feel we are moving up and will have to package multiple picks to get to 2 or 3......which means a few less picks to fill needs. This fills a major need. I think the Bills actually like Adolphus Washington too. So now we need a right tackle, MLB, speed WR and more depth on the oline.
