  1. 1. Should Pegs build a dome?

Not only no to a dome but build a stadium on the lake in the city; the greatest NFL games are in Green Bay and the old Minnesota Vikings in the 60's and early 70's!  Real football; then re - organize and create the great lakes division - Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, and Green Bay.  A new black and blue division!

It is an ugly and boring football game.

The new stadium will be a dome or have a retractable roof doesnt make financial sense not to be

That was a great football game.  Go watch curling or something.

That is a weak take. So the team that wants it more if there is one slip and a huge play just one play thag results in a TD that is the team that wanted it more lol

Don't care.  Still don't want a dome, it's too sterile.  This was a fun game in the snow.

No dome, but no reason for it to be in the middle of the snowbelt either.

Even though the snow is tough to play in, it builds character!  That winning TD run with the fans and players throwing snow in the air is a classic scene!

NHL Winter Classic? How many events are there for 70K seats in the winter?

Nada that is why it makes Zero Financial Sense that a new stadium wont be a dome or retractable roof stadium

That game was awesome.

Can't believe people don't like snow games. Just because the teams didn't combine for 70 points?

Because it is a trash product. And likely comes down to luck

Trash product?

Fun game, enjoyable and memorable for all.

It wasn't like a video game, but this is what separates football, they don't wimp out at the first drop of rain or flake of snow.

Can they make it retractable and waterproof everything.  And... During football, mandate that it has to stay open.

Close the roof to melt the snow before and after game.  Saves labor, and best of both worlds.

Or would people cry & whine: "Close the roof during inclement weather!"

Too tempting????

We need a dome for days like this. If this game were meaningful it would be a travesty. Imagine a playoff game in conditions like this? Horrible.

I propose we need a retractable roof to stay open for football only.

A roof only to heat and melt snow for snow removal before and after game AND for OTHER events.

As a counter point - if it were a bigger game, in these conditions, it's a game that would be talked about for years by more than just Bills fans. Sure, some of that would be negative (ugly game! etc), but a lot would be positive.

You don't get special games like this in a dome.

What would be the benefit? I'd much rather see a game that results in a fair outcome than a spectacle.

I don't even understand this point of view.

I guess to some people football is defined only by high scoring offenses. I think that is sad.

We did have at least 4 plays of 20 yards or more... More than your average game. Especially with our #2 and #3 QBs playing.

i thought it was a great game.  i have been trading texts with friends all day who were glued to their tvs.  some of these friends usually couldnt care less about the bills

It gets everybody excited. All the halftime and postgame shows were having fun with it and recounting their snow games, etc.

Snow is the ****.

Football in the snow is even better! One of the benefits of living in WNY for sure.

This isnt NFL football jesus

I agree with you here, that wasn't Football, and how would fans react if this team was actually expected to be contenders and lost a game like this because of a fluke play caused by the snow and they missed the playoffs because of it?

The difference between the other teams in the north east not having domes and the Bills is that those teams don't have the stadium in a location thats known for getting hit with large amounts of lake effect snow. If a new stadium is built, it may mean a dome, partial roof, or location out of a snow belt. It has nothing to do with fans being wusses or "snowflakes" and more to do with being able to play proper football and not the mess that happened today. Its fun to watch, but not a great game thats decided by the skills of the players.
