We couldnt come close to that offer, even with the 3-5 void years. He's going to cost over $15M next year.

Shut up about Hopkins… he was never coming here.  The cap is real at some point and neither us nor KC could match the bag he was going to get elsewhere.  He was only ever going to a place that didn’t already have to pay a QB.

wouldnt be surprised either way. they collapsed in the second half of the season last year, losing the last 5 of 6 games.
