The Cowboys are ruining the league

The contracts Jerrah keeps throwing out to guys is killing this league.  Now signing his RT to a 5 year, 86M+ deal, with 50M guaranteed.  He continues to go over the top, for guys that are no where near the top of the league, what will he pay Parsons?  The first 300M LB?  The guy needs to be put out to pasture.

He is a good right tackle.

when the cap goes up next year this will be an average right tackle salary.

They have to do this stuff because they have three contracts coming that are going to make or break the team in Prescott, Lamb and Parsons.

I hope they pay them all huge deals and continue to get the same results.  the dislike I have for these guys is off the charts.  Parsons tweeted the other day I will be a super bowl champion.....who does stuff like that?  The guy has been gassed in each of the last two niners playoff losses half the game.

Way too much for a RT, but it's the cowboys and they do have a lot of talent at the skills already so we shall see.

Unfortunately they still have Dak as QB1. I don't see them ever getting to the promised land with him under center.

So we have confirmed that he doesn’t study enough?  I knew it! That has been going around, according to some “reliable” sources….who don’t know anything.

Let the Cowboys ruin the Cowboys, I say.

I never heard about that. But it wouldn't shock me. But Whitlock says Allen is lazy.

I’m just referring to the garbage some folks who have no idea have been alleging to be fact in order to get clicks and/or irritate the sensible people on this board. I don’t know if Dak falls in that “lazy camp”, but not knowing shouldn’t stop us from posting about it like we actually know something.

It's a tie who is ruining this league. A tie between the Cowboys and Browns. The Deshaun Watson contract, at its astronomical price, fully guaranteed, completely warped the future of all QB contracts, and screwed 32 clubs forever.

On second thought, the Browns have done much more damage than the Cowboys.

Well the Browns say hold my 🍺.. it’s a strategy but ultimately it’s about managing the cap. The EE deal and Dak being in ?? make it possibly a poor plan. Other teams are being more responsible. But it’s not ruining the league. It’s making GM’s jobs harder for sure. But if they don’t win the SB it ruining them 😂

I don’t think it hurts anyone but the Browns.  Smart teams won’t do what they’ve done.

So Jerry is not hurting for money.

Jerry owns the company that designs and build new stadiums.

Jerry owns the company that has all the food contracts for the nfl nba and NHL stadiums.

And yes Jerry will not send his team to Europe for a home game maybe away but not home. He makes 1 mill plus every home game.

And you need to look at the menu at Jerry's 🌎  you can get awesome meals.

No sorry no happy endings I am looking at you patriots boy.

Sorry Virgil no crappy pizza logs

I'm a Mets fan. Cohen angered many with his drunken sailor spending. Got us all the way to last place. Go for it Jerry and hope you get same results😂

Although this season was terrible. I hope he does it again next year but actually hits on some great young talent. I think the issue was signing older guys. Ohtani here we come 🤞🏻

Of course they are, it’s the Cowboys after all, and it’s Jurah’s doing, the guy has more one thousand dollar bills than he has skin cells, but as he ages that’s looking less and less like a positive…,

Do the owners even get a say in who plays in Europe and whether it’s a home or away game?

He’s either a genius at finding hidden talent or overpaying. If the later, the thing this kills is Jerry’s chance of winning long term against Philly 48’ers. I totally don’t get your point.

Doubt it will be Ohtani but, yes, signing 40 year olds to huge money was mistake. They have to sign Olonzo and find two starting pitchers and better bullpen behind Diaz. They have a solid core of position players.

Even if it doesn’t work for them, it sets the new price for the position on the market.  THAT becomes the issue.  Look at Chris Jones, the idiot Rams paid Donald 31M, the next highest paid player at the time was around 20, now 24+ is the really good player price and jones wants 27+.  Yeah the cap is going up, but it’s not going up to the point where you can pay a QB 50M, a DT 27M, a DE 30M, WR1 25M, RB 13M, CB 25M etc.

Legends (Jerry Jones) just won the Highmark concession contract. Let's hope Jerry doesn't ruin that as well.

(for what its worth, Legends has a better reputation than Delaware North)

(Jerry and the Steinbrenner estate just sold 51% of Legends to an investor group, so Jerry's impact will be lessened)
