Receiving 2 6th round picks in next years draft is amazing-

even more amazing- we traded down with the Texans and the rams- both likely to be picking at the top of the round, almost 5th rd picks

I’m very critical of Beane, but these were very good trade moves.

If the Bills wanted Hopkins this is the spot to make a move.  THey have no 7th round picks.  Call them and ask them to pay half his salary and offer them 230 and next years 7th.  I can't imagine they are actually interested in him however.

Bills drafted 5 and 6th rounders are great picks

Bills don’t use a 5 and 6th for a proven player it’s because we value our picks

Bills trade 5 and 6th rounders they would not make the team anyway.
Bills have a ton of 5 and 6th rounders next year they will be amazing picks

I guess that can all be true?

I would rather have used picks to trade up in 2, 3 and 4 this year and got a better LB and WR and DT.

Is Voorhees still available?

If we’re basically done with this draft, might as well take a flyer on him before the draft ends as, basically, another pick for ‘24.

Dang it! I was about to forget all about this draft but now you got my hopes up for something. Using a 7th on Vorhees would be a great move, imo

We now have 10 Picks next year and WGR believes we’re done this year and will try to trade their remaining picks 😮

So is Beane punting on this season and going all in for 2024? I figure I'd be the first to post a statement like this before someone else does lol.

But this time it really is

In fairness.........this was said last year as well.   A lot of big measurable having, high recruit pedigree players figured to be available and they just didn't pan out and produce up to expectations last season.

The fact that next year's class has Marvin Harrison Jr makes it 10x the entire 2023 class on him alone.

If they go safety, what about Ronnie Hickman? I watched a few OSU games this year and always thought he was decent

Why not take a shot on Vorhees? Bonus for next year. It’s 7th round.

Gimme 2 of Vorhees/Joseph/Ojomo/Brandon Hill in the 7th and I'm ecstatic
