no I don't think he would jeopardize his career for Twitter fame. I don't think his tweet, even if it actually turned out to be about Micah returning, would even come close to jeopardizing his career.

I think this is a really bad idea for both Hyde and the Bills. He is risking his career and thinking a guy who missed months of a season can step in seems a little foolish.

Bills have given me zero reason to think they would panic-play a guy who can't help and, in the process, would be risking his career.

Risking his career by saying there’s great news on the way….. Face Palm GIF

i guess we’ll wait and see who is right.

Could be Hyde, could be Crowder, could be Kim, could be nothing. Aren't you all excited to wait and see if we even find out?

But why would the guy put his entire career on the line for a tweet?  Doesn’t make any sense

I agree with the take that the big news is Hamlin will be at the game.

I agree

If it's related to Hyde I would think initial step/announcement would be taking him off IR (which would be exciting enough) - nothing related to actual playing.  I've thought all along if he did come back it would be to suit up for the SB (even if extrememly limited actual playing role - think Stamkos).  Taking him off IR with potential to suit up for SB also gives team (even more) extra incentive to get there

*IF* this it Hyde news the timeline does matchup with what he said in a recent BN article (https://buffalonews.com/sports/ryan-ohalloran-could-bills-safety-micah-hyde-return-in-postseason-after-neck-surgery/article_0be8e698-85ef-11ed-8586-0fb296488d85.html)

This article was posted exactly two weeks ago.

My guess would be that he gets off of IR this week and then would play in the divisional round. Again, *IF*

A 30% Micah Hyde might be an upgrade for us. I hope it's about him but these things never seem to be what people think they are and really never seem to be that significant at all. I could see it being something like Hamlin is getting a Pro Bowl invite or the Bills are giving out #3 shirts at the game or something.

I would assume the gatorade comment refers to dumping gatorade on the coach at the Super Bowl though so maybe it is big

Sometimes these random rumors are correct though...like with Beasley.

Quietly running around and doing workouts is so day and night different than actual physical contact drills.

And trust me I do want him back like everyone else here. If he was cleared to practice today it would most likely take a few weeks to get back into form.

Fingers crossed...

Micah has said a few times he is in phenomenal shape. If he is cleared he would play and play the entire game

You’d have to imagine when he first steps on the field everything would move pretty fast since he’s been out and hasn’t been practicing full speed. If he were to come back, the Dolphins game with a lesser QB on the field would be the best time before a postseason run.

Why would it be about that - is that “very good news about the team” followed by a devil emoji?

It's a charity event with other players attending, fits the tweet in a click baity kind of way.  We'd all rather it be that Micah has been cleared to play again, we could use him (understatement of the year)

If dude was in his first 5-6 years maybe. But I think he will be fine. He can be coaching when he retires if he wants.

Not nearly as outrageous as your Vicodin bill.

No clue what to expect with the tweet. Hopefully he make a clarification if it does/doesn't come to fruition.

Just another attention seeker.

That’s a bad look on his part.

He knows Bills fans know who he is, and his relation with some players.

Comes across as an “I want attention .. oh **** this is actually taking a life of its own … better clean it up now” and/or he was told to clean it up.

I have so many questions:

1. Why is anyone following this guy?

2. What the heck does blue Gatorade mean?

3. Why would anyone think that has anything to do with Hyde?

This is one of the strangest rumors I've ever seen on this forum and that's saying something

Timing, based on Hyde's comments a few weeks ago. It's still just a wild rumor but I see why someone thought of it as relevant to "this week"

Hyde made comments a few weeks ago alluding to hopefully getting some good info back in a few weeks.. what that’s in relation to?.. obviously you can connect the dots.
