Could you imagine the backlash if people die because medical emergencies happen and they can't get to the places to help because the resources are out trying to clear the stadium area for a game? Totally agree. I’m sad because I love going (in spite of last week) and I hate giving up a home game. But the game instead was some activity that I don’t like (opera, the Erie County Fair, a NASCAR race, etc.), I’d be out of my mind if it was played here given the forecast. HappyDays
If this is legit we'll probably get the announcement soon. This is for the best anyways, I was worried about our offense vs Cleveland's offense in heavy snow.

YoloinOhio
If moved to Detroit I don’t see the team staying there until thanksgiving. It’s like a 1 hour flight. No need to move the entire operation.
DaBillsFanSince1973
So now that they're moving the game to Detroit how many bills fans are actually going to travel to that game? you figure if there was no storm at all we'd have what about 60 65,000 bills fans filling up the stadium. I'm just curious to know how many are going to travel to Detroit? especially now knowing that the worst to come is going to be tomorrow I believe and then Saturday it lightens up some. so I guess the best day to travel would be either Saturday or Sunday morning, no? Blank Stare
Hate to lose a home game, but snow always served as an equalizer for the browns as a running team. Fan turn out may have been limited any way.

Well, then they can use Sunday to start plowing their way to the stadium so they can start shoveling it out, it seems. It’s going to take time to clean up. Sunday isn’t the problem. Unfortunate timing for this crazy storm.

I can only assume most of the people talking like this either live in WNY in places that gets little snow from these like the Northtowns or only have foggy memories from living here decades ago...or don't live here and have never seen anything close to snowfall totals like this. Nobody who lived through Snowvember talks like this. remember it well I lived less than a mile from the lake and remember we couldn't get out the front door as the snow drifts were as high as the rooftop. now, I have been gone for 3 decades but trust me, I lived through enough wny winters and by no means are my memories foggy. Growing up in SB that would surprise me. They have about 4 ft at the stadium already. Nope...the band got pushed further south than they thought before stalling out...they knew the shortwave trough was coming and that the models were aggressive in the band pushing south, but local experience showed them this usually did not happen once it was set up and organized....this time it did.

He lived in our neighborhood and my sister would babysit their kid. Super nice guy! The detached garages between us were easy to get on top of with HUGE drifts! I jumped down into the drift below me on one end only to hear a loud THUMP! His VW Bug with a sunroof he used to goof around with was just under the snow. OOPS! Stuff happens!
