Think one of the main reasons he dropped to the 2nd round. Yes but it's fully guaranteed so unless they can trade him, they are on the hook for that amount. They could extends him to lower the cap hit, but if that happens then they are still committed to him and Edmunds, 2 LBs on relatively new contracts and the only ones that play when healthy so why do we need another? They should not need to pay average dollars to a SAM to replace Klein who'll play less than 50% of the snaps. The base defense is practically a 4-2-5 anyway.
