The players that they have been rolling out beside Ed this season just haven’t cut it in the running game. Someone needs to take up two blockers and push that line back. Perhaps the biggest issue is that Beane hasn’t addressed that It's definitely not terrible, it just gets inflated because it spanks bad teams. In reality they're maybe middle of the road, the secondary is so soft against good teams it just becomes frustrating to watch.

This should be an under center, play action heavy, big formation efficient on time offense. To often we bail on it and just go shot gun spread non stop. Singletary should be getting 80% of the snaps. Moss is so slow. The first 8 or 9 plays of this game were great until we got a penalty. Then we just bailed on it and went right back to the garbage that has been figured out. If Josh isn’t on, we have no chance. I hate that. At least the 2019 Offense was an attempt at sustainable balance. That team didn’t have extreme talent on offense but I loved the way the games were called. Josh is at his best with 250 passing yards and 2 tds and 50 rushing yards and a Td. Stop trying to throw from the spread every down. More 2014 Cam Newton and less 2015 Drew Brees Noticed this too. Josh is excellent under center where he can manipulate the play with audibles/slight of hand. And yet, there he was back in shotgun for the upteempth time with all deep post routes and nothing underneath. 1
ShakAttack
I thought it was odd when Cynthia Freuland had us at 98% chance to make playoffs going into this game… wonder what it’s at now? And if we don’t make it, does that mean we failed to do something that advanced stats said we had a 98% chance of doing? cause I’m pretty sure 98% of bills fans would NOT be surprised 🤷🏻♂️

y2zipper
I think the defense plays badly when they decide to blitz and overplay the run. Klein really can't cover and doesn't do anything when he's not blitzing. The health of the offensive line is also breaking the team. Offense is 15 ppg when Brown doesn't play because Williams moves to tackle and it essentially makes 3 new starters with Feliciano out (and one of them is Ford, who the team also knows can't really play). The group without Brown doesn't recognize blitzes and doesn't protect consistently like the group with Dawkins Ike Morse Williams Brown does. The line is due for a revamp but nobody was complaining about retaining everyone in the off-season.

SCBills
Down 17-10 at half gives us a chance. McKenzie fumble, in that weather, destroyed any chance we had to win or keep it close. We’re not built to play in windy, rainy weather, especially without Brown or Star and ESPECIALLY down 17 at half. 1

CEN-CAL17
First time since getting Josh Allen and first time since the McDermott era I hate to say this isn’t the staff or the coach that will lead a team to a SB championship. Last year was a good year but teams have taking a lot of the film and a lot of this teams tendencies and hold us down. Interior OL and DL are terrible. But McD, Dabolls offense and this Nickel Zone Defense cant do it!

Here in the real world though, the word is out, our O is more pop gun than K gun. Our D can be run over all day long, and put up gentle, at best, resistance. I think he can do it...and we have already started to see growth in the short and quick passing game...but he will have to focus on improving that aspect of his game in the offseason if this team is going to have a chance in the future... Best Williams Available
This team is not physically tough (apart from QB) and not mentally disciplined. oldmanfan
It’s simple. Have said it after each loss this year. The guys on their lines today were simply physically stronger than our guys. Our defensive front got shoved backward all day, and our O line gets pushed back or stood up far too often. I don’t care about teaching blocking techniques, schemes, whatever. When the guy across from you just kicks your ass because he’s stronger you’re dead.
KOKBILLS
That was a very uniquely terrible performance... The amount of things that went bad today could fill half a season... They need to get healthy quick...Not that it's an excuse because there is zero excuse for what they did on the field today as a team...But they need everyone to have any real chance...For sure... I also think the coaching is coming up real, real bad...No sustained answers when they are challenged with obstacles...Just really poor...Did they think Wentz was going to beat them today in the rain? Or that Reich would run it down their throats with JS repeatedly?...I know what I thought... And WTF with the penalties?...Especially on 3rd down...Good grief... Honestly...They need another off season these next 3 days...

Maine-iac
If I hear number one defense one more time I'm going t puke. We can give passing teams a hard time. If it's a running team we are in trouble and if they are a running team that plays great defense Allen will lose his mind turn the ball over 3 times. Even not stopping the run we can still be in these games (like the Titans game). We just aren't making the plays that are there to be made. Let's gut the big contracts on the DL that are getting us nowhere and see if we can get some actual competent OL. Maybe some of the big OL contracts need to be examined too, they're underperforming terribly. They need to get back to playing like they did last year. It’s not sustainable. We never paid for throwing so much. No crowd noise, everything broke right for us. This offense is figured out. Go back to the under center play action. Stop putting it all on josh. Give that 2019 offense Diggs and Knox and a much better Josh Allen and that team kills this one. Forget last year.
