Thought we might’ve had a shot at Nantz Romo, but likely #2 team Eagle and Davis. Browns vs. Chiefs will likely win out over our game. I’m good with Eagle and Davis, but it felt like Nantz and Romo called every game Chiefs were on CBS last year.

Charles Davis is a great analyst.  Him and Gus Johnson are my favorites, with some Kevin Harlan close behind.

Sounds about right. Of course it will change a few times between now and then. I don't see it going higher than it is now though unless (knock on wood and all that is mighty) a big injury occurs to an impact player of either team during TC or something.

I'd rather have Kevin Harlan calling our games.

Agree on CD. Really like him. Ian Eagle is really good play by play too. I really miss Gus Johnson. CBS made a mistake with him. He’s great anywhere, but I think his talent is wasted only doing college games for fox.

Harlan has a great voice too. Just have to battle through Gannon at times (although even he’s not too bad). I think Ian Eagle is a little underrated. Even as the #2 team. His kid and Cris Collinsworth’s kid really creep me out though with how much they look and sound so similar to their dads.

Let’s hope 👍

Not a fan of Nantz Romo

Yeesh.  Anyone able to check the last time we were a touchdown favorite on opening day?  That's a lot for a first game, particularly against a team that was a division winner last year.

I don't remember what the spread was but what about last year when we opened against the Jets.

I just checked.  You are right it was indeed 6.5 points.  That surprises me because it seemed the general national consensus was that the Bills would be in that 7 and 9 to 9 and 7 range.  I guess it was just that everyone knew the Jets were THAT bad.

Ian Eagle is good also.  Him and CD are a good combo-feed off each other well.  I was surprised that CBS let Gus go too.  Maybe he can do NFL games for Fox.  He just sets the stage with such anticipation and excitement that you feel like you are watching a special event.  Even if its say Purdue vs Michigan State in the Big 10 which Fox covers a lot of.  I remember how he used to say Willllis McGhahhhheeee when he carried the rock.  It was memorable.  I still walk around saying that sometimes.  And the State Farm commercials where he is eating Sushi rolls out of a vending machine are pretty funny in a silly stupid way also.

Completely agree. Gus was the man. Still remember this call. One of my favorites. Gus about had a stroke.

Gus Johnson is the absolute GOAT on CFB but we like him on Fox/ Big Ten. NFL isn’t allowed to steal him!

If anyone was going to jump the line and stone early, it would be you.  If for nothing else, just to annoy in a fun way Chand.  😂🤪🏈

Watching the 1992-1993 Bills Steelers playoff game, on YouTube. For some reason I remembered Miami being the one seed, OOPS, crushed the Steelers and their one seed in that game. Defensive struggle for most of it. Bruce and Thurman both played banged up.

Frank Reich, what a backup, so smart, efficient, careful (ultimately, reliable).
