Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football

Why would the nfl not be allowed to move the bills chiefs game back to Saturday? This season is obviously an outlier and will have to make adjustments on the fly. The media was floating the idea of it being a possibility. I’m sure it’s not just baseless. Broadcasting rules aren’t going to effect the game if it’s on nfl network IMO.

Diggs would lose a million dollars

So is that true?? From what the memo said it appeared the team did not have to pay the players it did not say they couldn't if they chose to anyway. Titan players shouldn't be paid. They caused their own problems deal with it.

Insider scoop from well connected individual whom I trust;

Sunday is off definitively. Game will be Mon/Tues.

Saturday is a possibility for Chiefs although Sunday is more likely.

Nothing earth shattering or new mind you, but forfeit isn't seeming likely.

This would be preferred imo. 1 or 2 extra days to get guys Healthy plus no super short week.  Thank you.

Anytime.

And to SWATeam's point, yeah, this is clearly contingent upon them getting their act together.

I don't see how Monday/Tuesday would work. The titans would need no positives tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday to open up on Sunday. So after being off for two weeks they are going to have one day of practice and then play Monday?

Jesus Christ, I never looked at the numbers, but seeing it written down for the first time, "22 OUT OF 53"????  Wow, just wow.

Count me in the minority, but I don't want the Bills playing the Titans for AT LEAST a month, if at all.  Talk about a frickin hornets nest of infection....

Never mind, just saw it wasnt 22 players..

But still. I don't want the Bills going anywhere near the Titans anytime soon...

I agree with this. If I were a player, I wouldn't want to get near that infestation for a long period of time. A couple extra days (even if they manage to have no more cases) would not put me at ease. Reschedule for a later date, or just move on.

I think the idea is they have no positives in today's tests (reported Fri am), no positives in Fri's tests (reported Sat am), they open up Sat. pm and practice Sat and Sun for game Mon.  The point to remember is the tests are reported the day after they're collected.

Tuesday seems more do-able for them but Monday better for us.

I mean, he's young, has a wife/fiance whose pregnant (meaning his family is pretty easily contained/bubbled), he's filthy rich and can make a bubble castle made of gold, and his team has a legit shot at the SB again...

Much different story than say, a 6th round pick on the Jags who doesn't have a committed relationship and maybe has a couple kids with different women, and is playing only for a paycheck.

Just harder to do once you look at the people side of things.

My god... Norman hesitated like he just rounded the corner at Tops and saw that girl he ghosted last month...

I thought he did pretty well not much you can do against that.

Love the way he keeps his hands down until the very end and doesn't give Norman a chance to get his hands up to defend it.  Little things like that help make him the elite WR that he is.

How about moving this game to a neutral field?  At least you could take care of the "facility has cooties" issue.  It's not like the fans in the stands matter this season.

This is where Diggs impact on the team extends beyond his own catches, because you can be sure he is constantly coaching-up the other guys on stuff like that.

But the timing with Allen that takes is unreal.  He just flicks his arms up at the end and the ball sails into them.  He knows just where that ball is going to be and that's where it is.

I don't think "facility has cooties" is a concern at all.  Have you read something about it?  To my understanding, the reason the facility is closed is to keep infected players & personnel away from each other and prevent contaminating the facility.  It should have been thoroughly decontam'd by now.

He really did... There's just nothing to be done about that quick twitch that Diggs has.

Not to mention if the DB commits too quick one direction, he can literally make them fall down.

Oh FFS. At what point do we cross the threshold to completely unfair allowing one bull#### team to ruin a bunch of other teams schedules. We're talking about 4 teams scheduling being directly violated cause the Titans have no respect.

Gabe Davis lookin' good

His body control really stands out for a guy that size. Feels like he'll be making plays for us for a long time.

Not to mention the benefit of our DB's going against a top 5 WR every day. Cascading value all over the place. Beane for president!

No I haven't.  In theory there should have been no one in there.  But at this juncture, can anyone really trust the Titans?

It's the people who are the problem, not the facilities.  The facilities are closed TO KEEP THE PEOPLE AWAY FROM EACH OTHER which they apparently just can't get through their thick skulls.

Diggs and Allen are the perfect match.  Diggs can run all the routes and then some, and Allen can make all the throws and then some.

Absolutely not, which is why the league shouldn't be bending over backwards to accommodate them in the schedule.  Just issue forfeits and other penalties and get it over with.

Yep. And really, I think their individual greatest attributes make them a great combo:

Diggs can go from covered to open faster than just about anyone in the league cause of his route running and agility, and Allen can put the ball on the WR faster than just about anyone. As they develop chemistry I think we're going to see a lot of broken plays where the timing and routes are off but they connect because of that.
