I’m a little disappointed, I would of been ok with lawsons contract. I really wanted him back. I could of lived with a 3 year deal even if the salary was a little high. Shaq, Addison and Hughes would of been pretty explosive to me.

I swear watching NFL Network it seems like Tom Brafy retired or died... the way they are talking about it. I get this is big news but jeeze the fact that we are bringing on former teammates to talk about the career of Tom Brady is strange. Just wait until he signs... it will be non stop Tom Talk

Everyone on the network has been playing the he is going back to the pats card for a while. They never really bought into him leaving for whatever reason. I guess his legacy.

Someone explain to me why Dallas wouldn't go after Brady given that Prescott seems to not want to sign anything but an insane contract.  Sign Brady for 3 years, trade Prescott for an absolute haul. 

 

Brady behind Dallas' line with Elliot and Cooper?  And Jerruh doesn't want that?

Because they probably view Dak as a significantly better and obviously much younger player.

Right, but if they can't come to a long term agreement and Dak isn't going to sign his franchise tag then it doesn't really matter how they see Dak compared to Brady.  Dak wants 40M (reportedly) and if Dallas just isn't going to do that then other options come into play.

 That would be a dumb move for Bridgewater and the Panthers. Cam only costs 19 this year, TB likely way more. Plus that team will be BAD next year. He will get killed behind that line. All the good will he built in NO will dissolve as he's massacred weekly.

Not sure if this is the appropriate spot for this discussion, but there's tons of threads right now and not sure this warrants a new one either. 

 

My question is, what is everyone's take on the Bills reported interest in a couple of high priced FA's remaining? We've heard they are interested in Reader and Harris. Both would require significant deals (which we've still got the cap space to handle). Is there a sense it's one or the other? Or do you guys think we're really going for it and stand a chance at landing both? 

 

In my opinion, landing both would take this great defense to a whole new level.

I think if I had to choose one it would be Reader. I'm a bit concerned with the DL depth at the moment. That being said I would love to have both.

I would be very surprised if we went after Harris. We signed Norman and retained Wallace. Reader will be tough to get all reports are saying Denver is going hard after him but he is the one I am hoping for.
