Too much of a tell.  At least Smith could catch passes in theory...

Don’t care.

like not even a little bit.

Good offenses still do it on the regular. we will have a better blocker in for the runs and can stay in line for protection on a pass. I’d rather Telegraph that I’m about to block you really well than play the lee Smith game and give up blocking for the optics of possibly having a bad pass catcher option.

I do wish for his success. But I cannot lie I low key hate his guts through no fault of his own because of the non stop threads on him hourly/daily/weekly.
Id love for him to be a good contributor for the team but in the back of my head all I can think of is 500 more “I told you so” threads to the coaching staff from all our genius GM’s on here ???

Kevin Johnson or Taron Johnson are able to fill in

And that’s why McKenzie stays active, to play corner if they get hurt. Versatility!!!! (Sarcasm in case anyone thinks I’m being overly serious)

You gotta believe Foster has played his last game with the Bills. Sadly, it’s probably for the best.

I think they continue to develop him. He’s an RFA. No reason not to. But will have to make the 53 again, which hopefully will be more difficult next year at WR.

Maybe Yolo, but they’ve already given him a second chance. I doubt there are many third chances in the NFL.

Unless they can trade him, there is no reason to cut him or not sign him as an RFA. They need 90 for camp, he knows the offense and plays ST. If he doesn’t make it to the 53, as you say, I won’t be shocked.

Wouldn't they put jerseys and pads and stuff out for the entire 53 man roster before the inactives are declared?

But Man that's one tacky locker room.  Almost makes our visitor facilities look luscious

We got a tour of Raymond James stadium in Tampa one time. Press box, walk the field, pirate ship, etc. The locker rooms were shocking! I’m sure some Texas high school locker rooms are better! Apparently they had to take space away for additional/unexpected space needed for press row when they host Super Bowls.

Funny side story, it was a bank sponsored trip with busses for of clients, referral sources, and coolers full of beer. Lots and LOTS of beer for the hour plus trip up there. What there was NOT, and some realized far too late, was a restroom. Grown men in total agony. Does it make me a bad person that I laugh about that day? Everybody made it, but barely.

it’s barely a third chance, it’s basically just waiting to make a decision until you have to and having a no cost chance to watch him til cut day in camp.

if he shows up on fire, ride the wave but don’t count on it. If he hasn’t stepped up cut him in August

baby steps.

Would have liked to see Sweeney in over Smith, but I guess we need Smith’s veteran presence there committing his usual two penalties.

An ideal game would have no reason for Lee Smith to take even a single snap.

Lee Smith had 32 penalties of 117 penalties (49 of which were on defense which he never played) or did you just fail in math?  You ought to write for PFF!

that was meant as a joke. I didn’t think I would get fact-checked on Lee Smith’s penchant for penalties! ?

That is a career number for Smith, right? No way he has had 71 targets this year!
