HOUSE
The Bills are hoping that Beasley can play his usual role in the slot, and operate as a sort of safety blanket for Josh Allen. Allen is entering a pivotal second year, and a weapon like Beasley will be a major asset for him as he continues his development. So far Beasley has been enjoying his time in Buffalo, and he’s feeling good entering 2019. “I feel I can do damage in a system like this,” Beasley said recently, per Tim Graham of The Athletic. “A receiver in this offense is way more important than it was in my last offense. There’s a lot more variety in what I’m doing here.” Beasley didn’t end his Cowboys tenure on the best of terms, so it’s not exactly shocking to hear him say that. Beasley was frustrated with his role in Dallas, and felt unappreciated. Beasley also stressed the importance of having a good slot receiver, and how they sometimes get overlooked. “There’s a fraternity with us,” Beasley said. “We ride for each other in that sense. We want each other to do well to prove a point.” https://clutchpoints.com/bills-news-cole-beasley-feels-like-receivers-are-more-important-in-buffalo-offense-than-they-were-with-cowboys/?fbclid=IwAR0KzYOK-4g2ZCWyjPNF00Q_30-YRnv97zTbMqqjzd1mrGLNTIKEC2vzUhQ Edited June 11, 2019 by HOUSE

LSHMEAB
That's my guy. I fully expect him to be a major contributor and someone who can help mask our deficiencies at TE. He'll be Allen's best friend if JA can learn to take what the defense gives him. 21 minutes ago, Binghamton Beast said: He looks like he’s going to go back to his locker, take a swig of JD and fire up a Marlboro. Over 29 years of fanhood
He’s starting to sound a bit whiny for my liking. I was thinking he might be a sort of Edelman type but he might not be scrappy enough to move the chains, get blown up by a lb, then belligerently extend theball to signify a first down. 18 hours ago, Boca BIlls said: He's going for that Jesus look... Iron Maiden
IMO Beasley will become a very big part of our offense.......if he stays healthy, he will be key in JA's development.....I've said it before, I love that Beasley is now a Bill.....
LSHMEAB
Cole Beasley the human being is completely different than the picture one would gather from casual observation. He's not for everyone. I happen to be a fan of a little "swag" as the kids would say. I think a little personality is a good thing for the franchise. You think Josh Allen doesn't have "swag?" He's got an overdose. Awe shucks with the media, but mucho bravado on the field. Edited June 11, 2019 by LSHMEAB

Buffalophil1948
Out of everyone we brought in Beasley is my second favorite. Morse beat him out. These 2 will help JA the most. The communication between JA and Morse is paramount and if they get on the same page with Beasley it could be real damaging for opposing defenses. eball
This is an excellent interview and has our new receivers coach Chad Hall looking like a visionary of sorts for how he understands slot receivers need to be coached differently. I'm excited that Beasley is all in Josh's ear, constantly, so that those two can be on the same page. I understand all coaches and players act as though their new environment is going to be the best thing since sliced bread, but Beasley has an edge and is looking to stick it to Dallas and everyone else. I like players with a big chip on their shoulder and we've got a number of them (including our QB). Edited June 11, 2019 by eball

Rc2catch
I hate hate hate the cowboys, but I do see quite a few games from them. Beasley could be an absolute monster, he’s 100% right and had every reason to be salty with Dallas. Dak is not a good quarterback and he never looked for Beasley who is literally uncoverable. Nobody can cover this guy. We don’t know if Allen is going to be good yet but I’m really hoping he develops something with Beasley because the guy could easily catch 100 balls if he’s targeted. He runs elite routes and is open every play

Not saying he won’t be a stud, but perhaps Cowboys’ opponents felt Beasley was not a threat in their offense....so they let him get open.

However looking over some of his routes the guys got moves. Also interesting that Allen's use of the slot WR, Beasley's position, was hardly prolific, rather it was more problematic. And frankly, what is our system? They're changing it this season, again, to suit Allen's deficiencies. Also interesting, I just looked, Beasley's most productive situations from an efficiency standpoint were on 2nd & 4-6, 3rd & 4-6, and 3rd & 7-9. Those were Allen's three weakest. 30 of 69, (43.5%), 316 yards, (4.58 YPA), 1 TD, 10 sacks. Not sure it's wise to predicate statements like that on OTA work, but hey, we'll see. Hopefully he's right and won't be disappointed. Edited June 11, 2019 by Ronin

I know that your Beasley proclamation that he will eclipse 1000 yards this coming season weighs heavy on you.
