SydneyBillsFan
Its pretty clear that Josh will continue to get solid numbers running the ball, but thats not why we drafted him. We also know he is not blessed with talented receivers and tight ends. With that in mind - when do we finally get to see him pass for 300 yards? I dont think it will happen this year. I am fairly confident it will happen early next season. It would be interesting to see what everyone else thinks. Most certainly their nice if for nothing else than to keep the gang around here lacks knowledge about the game that keep clamoring for 300 yard passing games quiet. The_Dude
Don’t be discouraged if he doesn’t hit that mark this year. Not because it’s unreasonable to expect from a rookie, but because it’s unreasonable to expect from a rookie with this surrounding “talent.”

wppete
We need to get Josh Allen some protection at OL and some weapons at WR to get 300 yards passing. Most likely next year. But I hope he runs for anothe 100 yards today and we win.
PlayoffsPlease
I don't think it will be this year, because they Bills have so few weapons. Stop for a moment and ask yourself, how would the 300 yards be spread around. The Bills have a weak cast of WR's and have no running backs or TE's who are good YAC guys. It just a tough proposition. Dopey
I picked today because I think Detroit uses a spy on Allen and we take advantage. It helps if Clay and Zay don't drop passes.

MDH
One of two things has to happen for 300 yards. He’ll need at least two big plays, like 60 yards or more, or he needs way more attempts than he’s getting. Its tough to predict the former as that could happen any week. The latter won’t happen this year. He runs too much and I don’t think the coaching staff wants him dropping back 45-50 times which is pretty much what it takes. I'll never understand people's obsession with this ridiculous stat. He had 366 all-purpose yard vs. the Fish -- literally twice the entire Fish offense-- and still lost. He had 307 all-purpose yards vs. the Jets -- almost 60 yards more than the entire Jets offense -- and still lost. Turnovers, sacks, penalties, etc. If you don't fix them, the only thing a 300-yard game does is make some people think he's a good quarterback. It's useless. Mrbojanglezs
In fairness to Josh, when he is running for 95 yards a game...that comes out of his passing yardage column. Only so many yards to gain in a game.

BuffaloHokie13
?♂️ Don't care. Offensive production should never be narrowed down to a singular side. Passing yards are not longer than Rushing yards. Passing TDs count the exact same as Rushing TDs. Run a competent offense and get back to top 10 in scoring & DVOA. 2
