Brianmoorman4jesus
That’s why the Jets were dumb for trading Bridgewater before the season started. He would probably be worth a 2 or 1 tomorrow if Jimmy G is out.

"12 out of the 13 of NFL quarterbacks studied after ACL surgeries were able to resume playing at pre-injury levels." https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/may/11/acl-injuries-sports-athletes-careers There is zero documented relationship with contact or non-contact ACL tears and durability. Marquise Goodwin has never torn his ACL. But Jimmy G has a freak injury that we seen in all sports across the world, one that can be readily repaired through advances in orthopaedics, and THIS ACL bodes poorly for him? Bizarre take from the uneducated. Yes, they are very good at repairing the ACL. I had it done and I am 100%. Waiting and rehab does suck bad though. It doesn't necessarily mean durability. For me, I took down a tree in my yard, lots of leg work, especially my quads. Played baseball the following day. Planted after tagging a runner to throw to 2nd base, my tired quad which would normally take the job of stabilizing the planting leg bailed out, and as a result my knee had to do the job, buckled and in the snap of a finger, my ACL was blown. It could be just as simple as he needs to strengthen his quadriceps better.

All I've heard off season around here is how "Jimmy G is taking the 49'ers to the Super Bowl!" Overpaid and frankly overrated quarterback who got a boat load of money without having played a full season. Then the networks give the 49'ers, a 6-10 team the previous season, 5 prime time games! Ridiculous! Even though we all knew why. I take no joy in Garoppolo getting injured, that just sucks for him. Although he's got all that guaranteed money and his 40 year-old porn star to comfort him. I also feel bad for the real 49'ers fans, not the Garoppolo bandwagon fans. However, I am laughing at the media now and the networks for all of those prime time games they gave them.
