You gotta trade McCoy now... right?

It’s pretty obvious the Bills are gonna struggle badly this season. If we can get a nice pick for McCoy, this is pretty much a full rebuild and he’s only got 3-4 pro bowl years left, maximum.

Reality seems to finally be setting in for Bills fans about this season. We need to trade him now, right?

I'm astonished at the lack of awareness and understanding of the salary cap and position value.  RBs past the age of 28 have very little value in the trade market.  When you add to the equation a high cap number it's even less.  Also, the legal issues of this specific player and previously known character issues and you're stuck with him.

They absolutely can trade him for a 4th,5th, 6th  no problem, if it comes to that. By week 4, he will be demanding a trade out of here, so nobody will need to feel bad for him.

To clarify, I did not say anywhere in my post that I would be expecting a third round pick or anything like that, so the crybabies can direct their sadness elsewhere.

I’m just saying he has more value to contenders than he has for us. That’s when trades happen.

You're delusional.  If you could find a willing partner to accept the money owed (a big if) you're looking at a conditional 6th or 7th tops.  In a position of much higher value, what did the Bills get for M. Darius?

It’ll happen by the deadline

Not to wish injury upon some player, but hopefully a playoff team will lose a #1 RB to injury at some point.  McCoy's price will then be at it's highest.

Get 'er done Beane!

McCoy looks checked out. I'd try and get rid of him asap.

Murphy was our best player today. He ran hard, and performed well on special teams.

I'd rather give him a chance with Ivory spelling him, but we need to get something for McCoy if we can.

Please clarify the legal issues and previously known character issues.

No way the bills will retrieve a high pick for a 30 year old expensive RB

I'm sure they'll take a 6th rounder for him when he dares to criticize McDermott or the FO, and all the McDermott/Beane cheerleaders will claim that Shady was an "underachiever" who "didn't want to be here".  Watch it happen.

I think I would almost rather keep McCoy than trade him for a 6th

Maybe Pittsburgh will want him with Bell not playing and then leaving.

His replacement Conner ran for over 100yds and 2tds. You may get mid to late round pick if a starter goes down with an injury and that team is a playoff contender.

For the individuals with their heads in the sand, this is what the rest of the NFL front offices know about this guy:

He's always around some bad things going on.

****Newsflash for you eternal optimists, he's worth NOTHING on the trade market!  I'm starting to question the football intelligence of the fan base.

Did you even read the summary?  It's all stuff that's been documented by the Philadelphia Inquirer and other "legitimate" publications.

Guy's a known cancer and a d!ck. Take off your blinders.

How about this:

http://www2.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/lesean-mccoy-buffalo-bills-allegations-philadelphia-eagles-marcus-hayes-20180711.html

https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/02/list_of_lesean_mccoys_off-field_incidents_grows_amid_philadelphia_police_investi.html

Do you see a pattern here?  I wanted no part of him in a Bills uniform.  Having contacts in the media, going back to his rookie season people have been cleaning up his messes for a while.
