Only if he can’t along with his head coach

True that.  Didn't think about that.  At least Jackson will have an excuse if he gets run out of town.

Not really, but feel free to overreact.

You think there is not some ding whistle like Al Sharpton out there who would love to class action sue the NFL and use Allen as an example?  Wake up.

The Kaep thing was a PR nightmare for the NFL. This is not even a blip on the radar.

The tweets are disappointing, but not as disappointing as trading up to get him would be.

How old was he? It’s not an excuse, but most of us did stupid stuff when we were young. Still.....

Yes...as in "When Kaep knelt for the first time, it WAS a disastrous scenario for the NFL"

Dude - that's still a mess and it's not over.

I'm not Sharpton fan, but even Al Sharpton couldn't try to make a class action lawsuit from a 16 year old high school boy's tweets.

So, do you think what the kid said when he was 14 and 15 years old should effect him today?

I don't know.  I do know that I hate racist people.  It's not like he's trying to get a job at GEICO.  Standards should be high.

You don’t know what?

The question I asked is pretty simple. Should what he said when he is 14 and 15 be held against him tonight?

Yeah, I don't know the answer to that question.  Maybe.  I wouldn't hire a racist.

At very best, we know he was a giant douchbag 5 years ago.

I could care less. This is ridiculous. If I were Allen I wouldn’t apologize. I’d say ‘do not judge the man for the actions of the child.’ He didn’t break a law. He wrote stupid stuff. I’m sure if there was Twitter when I was 16 I would have written about how fat lesbians are useless because nobody wants to see that in porn. Should 34 year old me be responsible for stupid things I said when I was 16? Get outa here. By all accounts he’s a good man.

Well the #1 overall pick more recently tried to run from the police and was tazed. But as a 14-15 year old kid he made some poor comments on socially media and he should be avoided?

So, I guess it was a non-issue after all, eh?

Was it? Hmmm did you not hear the coach address it and make them do additional work?  And again you said NON STORY. ummm it has been a story all day

So what are your thoughts on players like Michael Bennett giving the black power salute when he tackles a white player?

It's funny how leftists like you never acknowledge when a black player says or does something racist but you make a million posts when a white player does.

Actually, go back and read my posts. I said it was a NON-ISSUE. Every report I heard said not one GM considered it to be anything that would affect his draft status. He was drafted 7th overall and is now the QB of your team. So, pretty much a non-issue.

And yet 48 hours ago was considered 1st overall or earlier. So was there a little slide there. Yep
