Ha, wow that’s one from way back in the vault.

Wasnt that dude allegedly super club promoter, chicks and champagne and big baller parties on the weekly? Or at least that’s what he liked to tell everyone.

oh yeah.  talked about his range rover, etc.  he once posted a pic at a club with three girls to show off a bit.  it didn't work...he was so much shorter than the rest of them.  i'm not saying the op is angelo, but it did bring me back down memory lane.

what i wouldn't give for o-town to show back up.  i wonder if he matured into a normal human being.  remember how into lifting he was?  remember when he poisoned himself because he was drinking too many protein shakes, and literally wound up in the hospital?

So he says. I’m not so sure it wasn’t just Angelo posting under a different name. Wanting to be a real boy.

Come on Don, prove your worth as a viable source.

Answer my question if Bills are putting new turf in next year, and what kind it is, since you alluded to it will not have rubber pellets infill.

I thought he said natural turf? Could have been someone else.

For another poster: I know his source is NOT Jim Kelly.

I still haven’t heard of any open air stadium close to Alabama and it’s swamp land. From much of the due diligence posted by other posters it would likely be downtown.

Pegula's are buying up everything in and around the cobblestone district.

they will build a lucas oil field size stadium footprint right between the Key Center and Buffalo Creek Casino.

parking will shuttle folks all down South Park.

Hey, unless you have an unnamed source....

:)

I have always expected it downtown for so many reasons. But then, I’m wrong a lot.

There is a lot of grass in Perry Projects area and on google maps a lot of windows boarded up on those buildings. It is not far from downtown Sabres Arena and Cobblestone District.

Would that be better than tearing down the Cobblestone District? I don't see a stadium fitting between the Sabres Parking deck and that casino. Is the Casino planning to move and expand?

The Perry Projects are half empty. Part or all of that land is destined to become stadium property. It links to the development in the Larkin District. The city sees an opportunity to turn a blight into valuable real estate.

We’ve done that with a few houses. Turn the worst part into the best part and reap terrific returns. I hope that's what happens here.

Go on Realtor.com and look at the First Ward neighbourhood. See if you can find a single house for sale? People who own their are sitting right waiting for the wave to wash over.

The field is going to be 120 yards in length including the endzones.

53 yards wide.

Bunch of white lines and a big logo on the 50.

My source said a lot of seats probably the color blue, some suites, bathrooms for sure, a few beer stands, and at least 10-12 concession stands. Speakers and soundsystem are still TBD

Source confirmed the following today.   Building the stadium will begin in 2022 with play beginning in 2024. The stadium will seat 67,500 people. It will be open air with natural turf.  The stadium will be part of a complex that will include the following: (1) Field house, (2) outside practice field, (3) Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame, (4) surrounded by mall and hotels.  Terry has insisted on the following things: (1) Must be fan friendly - parking facilities to accommodate tailing gating (2) Family family and (3) high tech.  The game day experience will be improved for families with children under the age 16.  Next to the field house and Bills Hall of fame a family entertainment center will be built. Throughout the year, there will be activities set-up for visitors.  Kids will be able pass, punt, and kick within the facility along with displays, video, and bills store.  On game day, only adults with children under the age of 16 will be admitted to the area.  Terry wants to ensure intoxicated people cannot enter.  At the field house each week, The Bills will be bringing back former Bills to people to meet.  There will be no charge to enter and no charge for autographs.

I am not an RV person but my source says this will be huge for those people with a RV.  RVs can arrive on Friday and there will be 25 premium spots for RVs close to the stadium.  The premium sites will have full hook-ups (Water, electric and sewer). Only season ticket holders will be able to rent these spots.  The stadium will have the most recent technology for game time experience.  Hard to imagine what will be available in 6 years.  Stadium will also feature satellite parking  with Bus service to gate for easy access to and from game. Terry wants at least 75 luxury suites.  One suite will be called the twelve man and will be auctioned off each week to raise money for charity and 100 game day tickets will be given away to needy children.

Stadium is east of Buffalo with easy access to Rochester and Toronto.  Needs corporate money for suites.  For the first three years, there will be a minimum fee for what there are calling, Seating Agreement License Tax (SALT) that will have fund stadium.  Terry does not want or think NY State will kick in money with public funds.

Coming soon more news on Cousins  as discussions are heating up behind the scenes.

If true I really really like this minus one small thing. The family friendly portion makes me happy for the access they have and that is great, but also makes me slightly nervous on in game experience. In no way do I want nor condone the drunken idiots we see weekly and those people are not needed in the game. At the same point the Sabres have become so freaking family friendly that they do zilch to push the envelope. My fear is they start really trying to punish those who stand in the lower bowl and also have a much more corporate style fan environment that is not natural to what we as fans can contribute. I don't like that a lot of families won't take kids under 13 to a game so I am all for making that better, but I really hope they still allow the fans to be a presence and not neuter the experience.
