Barber and Zach Thomas do not belong but Hester does. Never once did I watch Barber play and think HOF.

Hester is the best there ever was at his position.

True, but since Hester primarily played special teams it’s going to be a huge uphill battle.

Some here (like @GunnerBill) think Justin Tucker is a lock for the HOF. I am not sure, but he will have the best shot of any once he retires.

Yes, I have been mystified by his election also. In the many games we watched the fins with him in the lineup, I didn't see Hall of Fame football from him.

Right.

I don't care what the stats say. Zach Thomas was no Dick Butkus, or Jack Lambert or Ray Lewis.

That is an impressive list. Thanks for sharing the posts and info!

Dallas vs. NY Jets could be the HOF Game, as both teams have two enshrinees.

No one plays starters in the HOF game anymore so it wouldn’t matter much.

They have to stop adding 5 every year. That list should be 2 or 3 max (outside of the seniors).

I totally agree.

Barber and Zach Thomas imo, not even close to qualifying and Coryell should have been in years ago, he foreshadowed what the NFL has became.

Some of these candidates are laughable.  Glover Quin?  Derek Anderson?

I’m all seriousness, who is the next Bills HOFer that will go in as a Bill? Josh? I mean, maybe Beast Mode, but he won’t go in a Bill. Nor will Jason Peters.

Yeah, but when you are selected for the HOF, you don't go in as a team's player. You are just in, and they list all the teams you played on. But I get your point. Maybe Gilmore, lol?

He is a lock.

Many thought Devin Hester was too. Plus, only one ST player (IIRC) is in the Hall (Ray Guy, from a long time ago). And there might be a backlog at kicker (Gary Anderson, Morton Andersen, Adam Vinatieri, etc.)?

Jan Stenerud. Guy was the second. As a kicker, Tucker will has a more realistic chance than guys like Hester and Tasker, but I hope they all get in.

What kind of shocked me was that Darrell Revis has been retired for 5 years.  Seems like he was just playing yesterday.

When I saw Joe Klecko walk out, I thought wow he doesn't look like he's all there.  Then I remembered what he looked like in his playing days and realized it he hasn't changed a bit.

9 people inducted!

For a long time I've felt it's too easy to make the football HOF and too hard to make the baseball HOF.

If Zach Thomas is a hall of famer, then so is London Fletcher.

Zach Thomas does not deserve to be in the HOF. We watched him twice a year for years and he was not a force and I don't recall ever worrying about him, ever!

Easy...

Andrew Luck 1st Ballot!

When is Kuechly eligible, because he's 1st ballot as the GOAT.

Sea-Bass also.

Tasker and Jared Allen get unrobbed.
