He is already one of, if not the the best guard in the NFL and would also be a great center. I am hopeful they come out of this draft with their future LT and center(fairly deep group of centers). Ultimately you gotta' get premium position players early though. Drafting for need.......when it's not a QB......just doesn't work. The issue is whether Brown''s offseason injury situation is the reason for his inadequacies or he just doesn't have what it takes. The Bills probably can't just assume the problem was all on the injury. How much do they invest in an alternative? That is the question. Money is tight and draft picks are at a premium with only six. Then you also have Allen improvising back there which is tough as well to guess which way you should go. I’m just hoping the coaches have a better idea than we do. Tall guys can play guard. Landon Dickerson on the Eagles in 6-6 and he's a pro bowler. But yes it could be a challenge for him possibly. He's a turnstile at RT right now though. Imo they wind up like the current weak Buffalo Bills. Yes! That is why the 2022 draft was so underwhelming - due to the inattention to the OL and a weak attempt at bolstering WR. The other issue is that McD doesnt seem to trust rookies even if they are drafted high and play a position which is expected to contribute right away. I am currently quite pessimistic about next season (not due to the recency effect) but I dont trust Beane to make the right investments and it also appears that they will keep Frazier. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did too, it was strange that everyone seemed to regress a bit, when I was expecting improvement as individuals players and more importantly as a unit. If Kromer sticks around, hopefully things will fall in place with better play from those who return as starters and for the new pieces put in place. Honestly he really never has been anything better than average at RT. He’ll make an impressive looking block on a run play then get smoked in pass protection.
