Scott7975
The Bills don't need to run the ball 20-30 times. The threat just has to be there that they could run at any time and it cant be so predictable. They did a good job with that today. Mixing stuff up and having some misdirection is what makes this passing offense work. Lining up every down and just expecting to be better 1 vs 1 allows the D to pin their ears back. It was the Jets but this is definitely a good start. I hope to see this the rest of the season even if they don't blow every team out. 2 2

But between the first drive and last of the 1st half it was still a lot on Josh and not as run tough as I thought it was going to be. I'm not complaining here... just not fully what I expected. This defense showed me they are a lot tougher this year, even down Star. yeah, HUGE difference. Defense is down two key starters who normally play the majority of the snaps, plus a strong contributor just IRd -> still strong game Offense is down 3 starters who normally play the majority of the snaps -> Hot mess ahead Our depth on O is not as good as we’d like to think, especially at TE and OG we are mi-tee-thin 11 minutes ago, YoloinOhio said: Yes Nothing like a little throw down in front of an opponent you will face again
Mr. K
I'm glad they put up points. Didn't like the int Josh had late. Would love to see the offense build on today. 17 doesn't have to throw 50 times to beat bad teams.
Bob in STL
The Bills really buckled down this past week. Better practices and better execution. When you execute, the play calls become “good”. Colts will be tuff. I’m glad we are home and hope they are ready again next week. Bleed Bills Blue
Been thinking for awhile that the constant talk here about Moss and Singletary's lack of speed was kind of overblown. But, as soon I saw Breida run I knew how true it is. You could see him recognize a crease and explode through it...impressive. Gotta find a way to work that kind of talent into our lineup. 2

Ethan in Cleveland
Klein played as well as Edmunds ever has today. He may not defend the deep middle as well as Edmunds but Klein does everything else well. This regime will not sit Edmunds because they drafted him, but there was no drop off in play today. 2 3 1
Bruffalo
After seeing this week's game I think I'm about done with Moss and ready to see him be inactive again. I realize he's coming off an injury and all that but it just seemed apparent how much better the vision is for Singletary, and Brieda brings a much different look to the RB core. Having Spencer Brown back is huge, the dude is a physical monster. It's too early to call it a home run signing, but he looks SO promising. Knox is a fantastic TE1 option. Mixing McKenzie and Davis into the lineups is definitely a good thing. More creative looks like this Daboll PLEASE. All in all great win, even if it's against an inferior opponent.

Breida is visibly faster yes. But he’s visibly faster than most RBs in the league; it shouldn’t necessarily be a knock on Motor or moss. Don’t get me wrong he got blocked out of the play a few times too. But he made up for it with tipped passes and some good stops. 1

Miyagi-Do Karate
I said this in the GDT, but I am amazed at Tyler Bass. You look around the NFL, and the kicking is dreadful. Then, you see Bass. He makes it look so effortless. On his PATs, it reminds me of a pro golfer hitting a 70-yard pitch. Just so easy and perfect every time. i really think he has a shot at the pro bowl this year. Deservedly so. 7

A number of posters here and I didn't necessarily disagree with them felt that this will be Klein's last year as makes way too much for the little he plays. But he can fill in for both Edmunds and Milano with little loss on the field. Considering they only play two LB's for the most part, may be worth having him as one extremely valuable backup for next year.

Then he came back later in 2020 and it seemed to just click for him. It’s difficult for me to justify keeping him off the field at this point, especially against running offenses. But the nature of his position is the starters play. And they play almost every defensive down. There is no rotation a la the defensive line.

I feel completely confident with Klein in there for either Edmunds or Milano. He's not quite as good as they are in coverage but he brings other things to the table and is a very solid backup and 3rd LB when they go to that grouping. He's not quite Alexander, but they totally need to keep him. Edited November 14, 2021 by vincec
