gonzo1105
The asking price has to be a 2nd round pick. Anything less is not worth it. The Bills can let him go next year and get a 4th, 5th round comp pick for him. it’s a lot but that’s the going rate for a QB needy team. Id prob ask for one of their QBs back as well.
DapperCam
I’ll take a conditional 2nd rounder (3rd upgrades to 2nd if he plays significant time). Or an upgrade at interior OL, or an upgrade at pass rusher. Maybe an upgrade at RB, but probably not.
Dan
The Bills would not have gone to 4 consecutive Super Bowls without Frank Reich or Kenneth Davis on the team. A sold back up to every position is essential, especially in a 17 game seasons. Only reason I would even answer the phone would be if the voicemail said we have a first round pick we don’t really want.

Period. I wouldnt even do the picks. It has to be an immediate impact player who can start and improve a position this year. Just as Trubisky would do for them. Brandon Scherff or no deal. edit: I miiiiiight be convinced for a 1st since they'll be an early pick, but I'd have to really think about it. And I dont think they'd give up a 1st anyways. Rubes
I get the love for Trubisky as a great insurance policy, but at the same time, his value is huge and will disappear after this season. If there's someone significant Beane can get for him while his value is high, someone who can be a big piece to the puzzle this year, I think you have to take that chance. Definitely a big gamble, though.

dollars 2 donuts
I can't explain it as it cuts both ways, but am I the only one that wants to throw up right now? My sphincter is tightened up to about 11 right now and my sphincter never tightens up, at least not to 11. I don't need this on trade deadline day. We never used to have this. dollars 2 donuts
Trubisky to KC for Mahomes? He would be on our team, but we could still make fun of him for being a back up. "Pat...PAT! Josh needs some Gatorade, buddy! If you're not doing anything how about ya chase one down for him?!" It is a tremendous waste of money and not even doable, but possibly worth it just for the snark. Hapless Bills Fan
1 hour ago, Greg S said: I like having Trubisky for insurance in case Allen gets hurt. I'm sure that was the reason he was signed - the Bills were an erg or two away from losing Josh Allen for 3-4 games last season (and perhaps could have gotten better play from a good backup). We wound up splitting those games, 2-2. You want a backup who could at least do the same. The year the Eagles won the Superbowl, they had a good backup. On the other hand...if Washington could trade us a quality piece that would put us over the top in exchange for a quality piece that would help them, Fair. 1 hour ago, CountDorkula said: That's a "season lost" IMO. I could be wrong, but I think Greg S means we would still win enough games to make the playoffs and have a shot at the Superbowl when Allen comes back (as opposed to missing the playoffs and sitting on the sofa come January)
