It was all-Buffalo, all 60 minutes. Unreal. The best guys were the ones we wanted to run out of town: Thompson, Okposo, Zemgus, Eakin.

May Day 10
I watched a lot of the game last night. Was pretty good. They played well and took advantage of a sub-NHL goalie. Effort was there though. Okposo was a beast. It reminds me of when they blew New Jersey out of the building in the opener a couple years ago

It reminds me of when they blew New Jersey out of the building in the opener a couple years ago Okposo is playing about 2 steps faster than previous seasons. There was a comment from Duff that the players are pushing each other to improve their conditioning and Granato said this team will be much better conditioned than in previous years. IT showed. They looked fast out there last night. Not just in individual skating but in puck movement, in transition, on the forecheck. It was a pleasure to watch compared to the young, slow, and tired team I am used to watch that fades in the second half of games. I'm not saying they will win a lot of games, but if they play with that kind of effort night in night out I'll support them.

That’s what “earning it” looks like and it looks like KA and Donnie Meatballs have these guys buying into that mantra. I haven’t seen Okposo move like that since his Islander days. If he keeps that up, he’s gonna have a monster year. I worry about his health though.

bigduke6
was a big Sabres fan for years, last few have sucked the wind outta me. i really started to dislike the team, Eichel, etc. what i saw last night has me interested again. not just cuz of the win, but they played friggen hard, they earned that win. dunno if the Habs are good or not, ive heard theyre expected to be a bottom 10 team. regardless, Sabres put in that kinda effort night after night, they will win the fans back. cautiously optimistic. also, very happy for Okposo, he seems to have found the fountain of youth. hes been a whipping boy for a few seasons, rightfully or not. still happy for him. So there’s at least somewhat of a chance for you there. And by the way, I’m just as clueless on the list as you are. My personal favorite on the list is Rasmussen Dahlin.
