Isn't that a penalty if you call for a fair catch, and then proceed to start to run?

It has been and I assume it still is, but it has to be pretty egregious to actually get called

Without moving at all the Panthers could have gotten Dalvin Cook and Patrick Mahomes in that draft

We also could've.  Hindsight is fun but the point is if you can get an elite multi threat RB like McCaffrey in the first round you have to at least consider it.

I just think the RB position is so devalued relative to others, and the talent you pass on at more important positions by drafting RB in the first round cannot be effectively recovered.   Imo it is always a losing proposition.

Also factor in the pounding these guys take and how short their shelf life usually is.

I'd rarely, if ever take a RB before the 3rd/4th rnd

So if you were a Chiefs fan would you be "concerned" about their D?

6 TDS allowed in 6 red zone trips.

I think I'd be more "unsettled"

Wish daboll incorporated more of a screen game

We dont necessarily have the best personnel for it, but it would be nice to have it in the toolbox at times (like last week).

KC feels threatened so immediately scores a TD. So annoying.

They have the same number of 1st half offensive TDs that we had today. And we did the same thing our first drive in the 2nd half today. I get there are legitimate issues with this offense right now but some of you take it way too far.

Yeah, Buffalo didn't feel threatened at all and still scored a TD. What does that say to all the "grass is greener" fans here...

The offensive lineman need to practice it so they don’t get called for ineligible man downfield, but McKenzie and Singletary would be good for it

Question. How do the pit of bounds rules work.

On that catch he hurdled the defender. Feet landed inbounds. Defender so contact and his knees touch then his hip up land out of bounds.

In theory wouldn’t he be down in bounds not out?

I'd like to get Matt Breida involved there.

The problem is that the Bills have zero Guards or TEs who have shown any propensity to get out into space and block people.

You're just not going ot have a successful screen game with that kind of personnel.

You might pop one every once in a rare while or run a few just to give the pass rush something to think about (which I am all for in certain matchups), but it's not something this team can use with any sort of regularity this year.

Seems like the Bills had some success with Bubble screens last season

Both Davis and Kumerow can block in space, and Knox lines up outside often enough not to be a “tell”

Respectfully disagree on the guards. I think that Feliciano could block in space with Morse. Feliciano has weaknesses but I think this might be one of his strengths.

He seems like he should be able to and sometimes he actually does get up into the second level, but when he does it's almost always in a straight line upfield. It seems to me that every time he has to move outside, which he typically would on a screen to his side, he ends up lunging with his head down and ends up on the ground.

They can make some hay with those, but it's really tricky when teams are spending entire games in a dime or even running 7 DBs out there at times.
