Gugny
He is handling his exit from Baltimore with grace, professionalism and diplomacy. I hope someone gives him a chance. Responding to a fan's comment that he should've been given a better opportunity, Bryant wrote: "It's hard. I've been off almost three years. I flashed my abilities to the point [Ravens coach John] Harbaugh asked was I ready to play because he thought I was ready ...You have to learn the playbook ... chemistry with the QB have to be on point." Asked whether his chemistry was off with quarterback Lamar Jackson, Bryant wrote: "Our chemistry was good on and off the field. But it was guys there before me who understood the offensive concepts better than me. You can't jeopardize that." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30953444/dez-bryant-plans-play-two-more-years-with-ravens-six-game-stint-baltimore 1
Brennan Huff
I was shocked when he signed with Baltimore last year. He was never the fastest guy and he never had the greatest of hands. Maybe someone brings him into camp but I really don’t see him being on an opening day roster come September

Punching Bag
I think he is a player who still has plays left but not a lot. His concern about other players knowing the offensive concepts more than him means he needs to be on a team with concepts he is familiar with since he will not get a lot of reps. He needs a OC who is good teacher and can find a few routes he can be called on to play which will be specialized for him. Considering salary he got from Baltimore I am guessing he will be looking for a veteran minimum salary which is doable if he can show enough in training camp. Mr. WEO
He wants 2 more years of not playing. My contract is currently for at least 5 years of this...I will certainly re-sign after that.
thenorthremembers
I am here to announce that I also have two years left in me. Sure I am 37 and out of shape, but I've never played a down in the NFL so a lot of tread left on the tires. Also, I would gladly play for the Vet Minimum. Doc Brown
Not worth the headache when there's so many young WR's vying for a roster spot as talented as he is at this point in his career.

TheFunPolice
I remember when Dez was part of the new trio in Dallas. When it goes bad for a WR it goes bad really fast. He went from great to looking like a practice squad player almost overnight.

Big Turk
Hard to remember another WR that fell off a cliff starting at age 27 after 2 1300+ yard seasons and a 1200+ yard season in a row, along with 12,13 and 16 TD catches, the last of which led the entire NFL... I mean Stevie Johnson is there if you want him but he was more a #1 by default because our offenses were so devoid of talent...he posted 3 straight 1000+ yard seasons and then never cracked 600 yards again starting at age 27. That in large part was due to volume, getting 134-148 targets all 3 years but with pretty low catch percentages in the low 50s all 3 years. It was due to Fitzpatrick working with him when neither were starters and Fitzpatrick understanding that Stevie made it to the throw points but did not necessary run route as designed but adjusted route to what he saw on field. It took a QB of Fitzpatrick's intelligence to see what he was doing. Revis, who was best CB the Bills faced on a regular basis, made Revis look like a rookie.. https://vault.si.com/vault/2013/11/04/the-case-for-stevie-johnson Richard Sherman also had issues covering him and acknowledged he was a great WR. I think Stevie's issue was he did not do a lot of work in offseason and it hampered his performance as he got older.

MJS
I'm actually a little puzzled that he hasn't had opportunities the past few years. There are usually desperate teams out there more than willing to bank on the resurgence of past ability.
