So, if there are more Covid cases with Tennessee, how can the game go back to Sunday? Postponed? Forfeit?

wth!

It was ambiguous.

I think how it should read is "Bills-Chiefs game being switched from next Thursday to Sunday but the Bills Chiefs game will go back to Thurs if more positive tests in Tennessee, per source.  Implied is that the Tenn. game would then either be postponed or forfeit.

Makes sense, NFL reluctantly agrees no way they can expect Tenn to scrape off the rust in 1-2 days (at best) so gives them 2-3 days and sacrifices the Thursday nite game

BUT NFL says "if you can't play Tues after all then Never Mind"

This is crap.  The Chiefs/Bills game should be moved to Monday night.

The Bills shouldn’t be penalized because the Titans can’t socially distance.

However, the Bills do get an extra two days to prepare/rest for the Titans and now an extra day to prep for the Chiefs.

I predict:

The Tuesday night game will not be nationally broadcast, unlike the Patriots game.

The Chiefs game will not be nationally broadcast and will not feature Buck/Aikman. So the Bills lose their big national night game vs. the Chiefs because of the Titans' negligence. Oh, and the Chiefs get extra rest.

I predict both games are national.

This could end up doing the franchise a favour. Imagine destroying the Titans and Chiefs!

The thing that sucks the most is losing the nationally televised Bills vs Chiefs Thursday nighter.

Now it'll just happen at 1pm Sunday and get lost in the sea of games.

The Titan's screw-up cost the Bills a primetime showcase. Boooooo!!!!!!

How exactly will it be national when the slate of national games for Sunday is already set? It CERTAINLY won't be a night game.

As we have seen, NFL will change things.

The situations are fluid, and that includes slated games IMO

This is complete horseshit!

This may determine home field and we don't even know who and when we may be playing, and at no fault of our own.

Someone needs to eviscerate Goodell over this

Unless the world goes back to completely normal by January there isn’t a huge home field advantage.

Why in the hell is the Chiefs game not moved to Monday night? Gives us more rest and retains national spotlight. What's going on? Why does NE get afternoon games moved to Monday night twice, but the Bills have their premier night game of the season moved to a generic Sunday daytime slot?

They already moved the P*ts to Monday because fans love seeing New England getting their ass kicked.

I believe they meant the Chiefs game would from Sunday week back to Thurs if the Bills don't play Tues.

But I don't see how that can possibly happen if the Chiefs are playing Monday night - playing on 3 days?

Ridiculous!

Hopefully just wires crossed with the different game time decisions.

It's infuriating that the league is forcing other teams (Pitt, Buff, KC) have to accomodate Coach Seabass and his merry band of dips**s down in Tenn.

I See No Lies, but I'm not convinced it would be an advantage to the Bills to have a make-up game tacked on the end of the season, and the players surely want their $$
