Anyone hear if Edmunds is putting in extra work with the tackling dummy?  Sort of like when a WR catches footballs from the jugs machine after practice.

😈

No, I think Edmunds is putting in extra work in the training room trying to get right.

He's probably riding the T-train to get through the game.  No reason to take that risk to tackle a dummy (making a possibly erroneous implication about Raiders player IQs)

is norman going to be activated? We could at least use him in nickel situations.

he is a vet and a leader and if Hyde is out we could use that in the secondary.

Nickel situations?  I don’t think he’ll be seeing him on the field with White and Wallace, could be wrong.  I think he’ll be out there opposite White with Johnson in the slot.  Or opposite white in 4-3 or (sub) sets. Us being in nickel should have to do with him playing imo

i mean.... he really didnt do anything between the 20's. Knox has shown more there.

I like Knox's potential, there's a good player there, but he has to get the fundamentals right, i.e. no fumbles and drops.

Kroft, as far as I can make out, did what he was asked to do, and did it well. Knox has tried to do what he was asked to do, but hasn't done it so well. I'm sure he will get more opportunities, but for the moment, I'd be way more comfortable with the reliability that Kroft showed last Sunday.

I would also say that it wouldn't hurt Knox to sit, bearing in mind the concussion. I believe he still has a long career ahead of him.

Kroft certainly opened my eyes on Sunday.  I also still love Knox's potential, but Kroft played really well... I might be inclined to give him another week to show what he can do before bringing Knox back in.

The dearth  deluge of Josh Allen love all of a sudden is crazy.  Even the but-er's are more generous.  He's got an arm, but, he plays reckless has changed to He's got an arm, but he has an occasional lapse...  People who critique football players and fans alike know a QB should not run over Van Noy or facemask a lineman, but deep down we love it.

Sounds like we’re getting healthy, which is good...

Maybe I’m being crazy, but nothing about this Raiders team scares me... I’m confident we’ll move the ball on their defense and score points which will force Carr to throw which is a good thing for us.

I don't think you are crazy. The Raiders can run the ball well, cool. Im confident we will score on a vast majority of possessions and they wont have a shot at keeping up.

LOVE that we are looking pretty healthy.

I asked it once and I’m gonna ask it again. Is the raiders game of 17 the last time our defense scored a td? I know it didn’t happen in 2019. If that is correct it’s a absurdly long draught. ESPECIALLY for how good our defense was over the last 2 seasons.

We’re far passed due. Somebody in the secondary jumps one of carrs bazillion short throws and it busts the doors open on this game.

Didn’t Poyer have a pick-6 on Brady in December of ‘17? Just going off memory...

Line has moved to 3 I see. Early betters saying hellllll yes to the Bills by a field goal.

Raiders are really banged up.  As the injury news comes out, the line is likely to move even more toward the Bills... This looks like a Bills blowout....

oh ya. in NE.... same year though. thats a really long draught.

Yep. Basically an entire season plus a quarter. Though worth noting that Tre White definitely gets one vs Pittsburgh last year if Matt Feiler doesn’t chase him down because Kevin Johnson doesn’t double back and block him.

2 seasons.... none in 18 or 19. just crazy considering the caliber of our pass d in that stretch.

I mean, their defense looks worse than the Rams defense. It we move the ball and score on them like we did against the Rams, I’m fine if they want to run all day.

Two seasons. The Bills did not score a defensive touchdown in 2018, nor in 2019. They are way overdue.
