Big Turk Posted December 25, 2019 Share Posted December 25, 2019 (edited) I don't get how a guy who has averaged 4.5 YPC for his career and never under 4.0 YPC in any season over his career is not on a team right now but retreads like Robert Turbin just got signed by the Seahawks. Now I know he used to play for them.but the man has averaged under 4 YPC in 5 of the last 7 seasons he has played including his last 3. Anderson also came up huge late in the season and in the playoffs for the Rams last year with some big games when Gurley was dealing with his knee issues. So I have to wonder how is this dude not on a team? Honestly the Bills could probably use him right about now. This is now the worst offense in football, kind of like the Bills with Derek Anderson last year. (Although CJ had the benefit of 2 Matthew Stafford games before he was cut) I don't know what CJ did or failed to do that's made him so untouchable. He kept hinting at something when he tweeted about "The Game" and how he presumably refused to play it. What "Game?" Yes, 28 year old running backs are not in huge demand, but CJ actually outplayed Todd Gurley last year (as in one year ago, not 3 years ago) in his brief stint with the Rams. He's never been fast or looked like a chiseled athletic specimen, did you actually see Marshawn Lynch in a Raiders uniform?
