Two new Names added to Trade Market (Jets) - WR, Robby Anderson and DT, Leonard Williams

I like Robby Anderson!  For that matter I like Leonard Williams.

People keep saying "We need a #1 WR".  What we need is to upgrade the position and Robby Anderson instantly becomes the 2nd best WR on the team, therefore he is a nice upgrade!.

I think it had the opposite affect.

We don’t have our own, our own would dress.

We are looking at other WR just because we need more talent.

I agree we need another WR but not Anderson. We need more of an Alpha not a situational deep threat guy

We I think fans are misreading this whole "looking for a WR" thing.

Smoke is outperforming everyone on the trade makert, I think Bills just want one more reliable guy out wide who can be the #3 WR after Smoke and Beasley.

Foster was also seen eating at The Healthy Scratch in the harbor center. One more strike and he's out!

They are sitting Foster out so they can use him as the sweetener in a trade for true WR.

I think Williams is an upgrade over J. Phillps. Not sure he can replace Star on run downs. I get the sense you could line up Oliver and Williams together in nickel. Not sure if they would work well paired in the base defense.

If it only cost a 3rd, I would make that trade. If he leaves in free agency, they would get a 3rd round comp pick back. Maybe he plays well next to Oliver and they sign him long term. They would have the cap space to do it.

All that said, they need an edge more than another DT.

Jests aint trading him to Buff or NE.

They won't get comp pick automatically.

But I would welcome his talent.

Isn't that guy Duke? Hes looked good so far. Im definitely comfortable with Foster as our #4.

So i dont see the point to acquire a guy as depth since we have Foster. If we are indeed looking for a WR then it must be a guy that can be our Alpha dog

If Williams came cheap I wouldn’t mind kicking the tires on him

I still have a feeling that if Beane is going to make a trade, it will be someone ccnsidered untradeable or thought of as unavailable.

Don't agree about not trading in the division.

Yes, comp picks are not automatics but they filled many holes with free agents last year. If they re-sign some like Spain and Feliciano(don't recall contract length) they should be able to have a net negative number of free agents.

Me personally............

However this season pans out............

I want the Bills to hold onto their 2020 first round pick so they can draft............

WR Laviska Shenault Colorado 6’2” 220

That’s the kid I have my eye on, and hopefully the Bills do too.

Shenault is the better option than any high-priced vet that you or I would want.

On the big board, Shenault is anywhere from the 4th-6th best WR in the draft, so no matter where the Bills pick they will have a great shot to get him.

But, of course, things will change a million times over.

Robbie Anderson is indeed an impact WR, he's just stuck on the Jets.

He's more talented than any wideout currently on the roster.

Love Robbie!  One of my favorite players in the league right now.

We are getting to know Beane a little. For example, the Bills reported interest in Sanders could have been a smokescreen. The obvious need is someone more dynamic to compliment Brown. As good as Brown is, it is  has become a glaring need.

Exactly. I get really tired of hearing people say "good enough". The ONLY thing that qualifies as good enough is winning the SB. We need a couple game changers and a probowl OT. On defense we need to add a shutdown CB and an elite edge rusher. Add probowl talent at those positions and pray that Josh continues to improve as a passer and look out for us. I don't think we're a serious threat to go all the way, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The ghost of Robert Foster.

Duke is the depth guy. He's looked fine in his limited role in two games, but he's not dynamic or any type of threat to stretch the field. He's the type of WR you want to bring on the field in the red zone or when you need to move the chains, and hope that if he can't get separation, that he can use his huge frame to shield off the defender and make the catch.

But with his speed (or lack thereof) he's not threatening the defense at all. And with Foster inactive, no one but Brown, or Andre Roberts who has barely played WR for the past few years, has that ability. That would be a big element added to the offense. Defenses wouldn't be able to sit on underneath routes or shade to Brown's side on deep routes if there was another capable player opposite him.

AJ Green (injuries aside) obviously fits the bill but will be costly. Anderson does too. DeVante Parker has flashed a bit this season but would be another in-division deal. Just seeing now that Dante Pettis might be moved that could be an intriguing flyer, he would be a change of scenery lottery ticket kind of like Zay Jones going to the Raiders.

I just want to see anything other than a practice squad guy out there as a starter. I don't want to see this team waste this opportunity with this soft schedule

That GIF makes me think of the fence painting scam run by Tom Sawyer, and how the Bills could use it in dealing Foster before the trade deadline:  “Wow, that Foster’s such a devastating receiver that we have left him inactive all season long.  It just wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the league to unleash him to play!”

Him too, but I don't think the Bills are looking for DT specifically.

They should be because the Star/Peko tandem at 1T is uh...not great, to put it lightly

I don't disagree.  The Bills are playing Jordan Phillips at nose at least some of the time because Kyle Peko isn't big enough or strong enough to handle it.  Phillips is a more natural 3 tech despite his size, but at least he's big enough not to get pushed around.  It's just that the Bills' lack of murmuring about DT makes me think they've decided to try and make it through the season with their current foursome at DT knowing they get Harrison Phillips back next year.  I don't necessarily agree with Buffalo's approach
