OldTimeAFLGuy
...ex-QB's regardless of their career stats as in Simms, Dilfer, Professor Palmer and even the new QB Coach Dorsey are all very high on this kid.....their assessments are objective, citing pros as well as cons, and come up with a net value...NOT afraid to be critical but offer reasons when they do so....sure beats some urinalist pontificating from under his desk sniffin' #2 lead.....you make the call..... Logic
What's crazy about Josh Allen is that he has top two or three all time physical abilities at the QB position AND off-the-charts intangibles. Often times (though not always), great QBs fall into one camp or the other. Brady and Montana had insane intangibles and smarts that made up for their average athleticism. John Elway and Steve Young had such tremendous athleticism that they often dominated with sheer physical superiority. Allen has a great head on his shoulders AND insane athleticism. He has absolute All-World potential. He has a long, long way to go, of course, but he has the potential to go down as the greatest quarterback in Bills history. 6 1

Royale with Cheese
Chris Simms and Mike Florio are having a segment on their show about what 2nd year player will make the biggest jump. Even though Simms has hyped up Allen, he chose Darnold to make the biggest jump. Florio picked Allen. He talked about the Beasley pick up as big acquisition. Said you have to defend every blade of grass on the field because he rocket it down the field for 80 yards and now he has someone that can get open over the middle....not to mention his athleticism. They both believe that Allen had a better season last year because he made bigger plays. That was one reason why Simms picked Darnold for biggest jump....Allen is coming off of a better year so for Darnold has higher to go to get to the same level. Both believe the Bills and Jets will contend for the WC.

RoyBatty is alive
I enjoy his analysis but his delivery takes way too long and is redundant, what takes 10 minuted with all his jabber and really only has two minutes of value added content. His free form speech is obnoxious.
