Hebert19
We still need a TE pass catcher and now that we have addressed WR I'm guessing we get one of the top TEs now in 2nd. Thoughts? That would put us in a great position for Allen.

BobChalmers
agreed, but can't rule out DE (or OL if we don't get Williams)

Trade back take a tackle and tight end early.
Virgil
OT, OLB, DE, DT are still very much on the table at 9 Edited March 12, 2019 by Virgil
Dr.Mantis_Toboggan
It depends on how many more guys they sign before the draft, if any. I could see them drafting Edge at 9, Tackle at 40, then TE in 3rd-4th personally. Croom still has upside, Kroft can be the #1 TE and bring along a young prospect or two. If they can land Daryl Williams, then I could definitely see them going TE earlier than later.
NewEra
Feels to me that we’ll be fortifyng the lines. Dilliard or Taylor (if he’s there) or Oliver/DT or pass rusher if we don’t sign ansah. Ansah and Williams being the wildcard. If we sign one, cross pass rusher or RT off the list. Kudos to beane.
machine gun kelly
Agreed on the TE draft after Taylor at RT.
CaptnCoke11
Adding Williams at RT will be the final piece. Then I’d love to see them trade down some and pick up and extra 2nd or 3rd. Get Hockenson, DL, OL, LB
Just Joshin'
Wait - there is another thread that says all signs now point to DL/OL. Which is it? Answer: BPA based on the Bills evaluation.
Cash
I will be surprised/disappointed if the Bills don't draft a TE in the first 3 rounds. There's still only 2 on the roster, and the money they gave to Kroft probably precludes another significant FA at the position. (I do think they'll sign at least 1 more FA, but it'll be more of a 1 year deal close to the vet minimum.) I'd be okay with a TE at #9, although I don't think there's any worth the pick this year. I'd be thrilled with one of Hockenson/Irv Smith/Fant either at #40 or in the 1st after a trade down.
N.Y. Orangeman
I"ll be surprised if they consider a TE before the 3rd round.

Logic
I'm thinking they're looking at a pass-catching tight end in round 2-4, rather than a Hockenson or Fant level guy in round 1.
transplantbillsfan
Absolutely... we signed 2 Centers... one of whom will likely be a starting Guard. We signed our RT in the guy from Washington. I think Teller is our other Guard and even though Dawkins isn't great, I think he still sits as one of our starting Tackles. WRs are upgraded with Brown and Beasely and hopefully the improvement of both Zay and Foster. RBs are covered even if they're almost in wheelchairs. We added one TE, which gives us 2 on our roster now, but neither are difference makers. I think one of the top 2 TEs--Fant or Hockenson--are our targets. LabattBlue
I think they go OL or DL with their first pick. Still holes to be filled.
Prickly Pete
I can't help but think they will take a front 7 defensive player with the 1st pick, now. It feels like they are hedging their bets everywhere else, knowing that is the strength at the top of the draft.. There doesn't seem to be good value at WR/TE at 9. And while I would love an elite O-lineman, I think they are taking a different approach there, and just trying to raise the overall talent level. We shall see, they may even trade down, and that would open up all kinds of options. Edited March 13, 2019 by OJ Tom

Dkollidas
I think rounds 1-3 will be TE, DL, OL. Not sure what order, but those will be the positions they go for. I would hope the try to move down, gain some more picks and pick a tight end later in round one

bobblehead
the FA period this year is not going to make the Bills a contender by any means, but Beane is now free to BPA his ass off in the draft. And I think this is the year where BPA is In the trenches. Maybe D in round 1 then O including TE. I also think he wants to free up the middle rounds for those RB’s that grow on trees. This^^^^^ Beane basically filled all the holes on the roster, so now he's free to pick whomever he feels is BPA in every round of the draft. It's going to come down to how he has guys graded when we pick. I doubt he's going to be gunning for a TE, but I'm sure he'll go with a TE if he feels it's the best prospect available. DuckyBoys
Doubt we draft a TE in the 1st. My guess is edge rusher or OT. Draft is heavy on defensive talent and Beane covered a ton of holes in the offense so they should be feeling good right now
Ethan in Cleveland
OLB or DE especially if two QB and a WR are taken in the top 8. If a few Defensive lineman have fallen then you have a chance to move back a few spots. But if both QBs are gone by 9 I doubt they will find a willing trade partner. Hockenson would be fine with me at 9 but my guess is there will be better defenders at 9 to take and they wait until round 2 to get a tight end
IgotBILLStopay
I agree.Bills will get a TE aim the draft. Will likely go for Irv Smith or Noah since Kroft is a good blocker.
njbuff
If the Bills don't sign or trade for a DE, Clelin Ferrell is my guy. I just don't know his value right now. I don't know if he is top 10 or falls in to the 11-20 range.
