Some terrifying Bills offensive comparisons

Recommended Posts

The Bills have 3 passing TDs:

- Army has 6

- Pat Mahomes has 26

- Pat Mahomes has 6 games of at least 3

- There are 11 players that have at least 5x as many TD passes as the Bills

- There are 30 players that have at least 2x as many TD passes as the Bills

Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers have thrown 527 passes and have combined for 2 INTs. Nate Peterman has thrown 32 passes and has 4 INTs.

The Bills have scored 7 offensive TDs:

-  Eric Ebron has as many TDs as the Bills

- Tyree Jackson had 6 last night for UB.

- 38 players (QBs included) have at least 7 TDs

- Todd Gurley has scored more than 2x (15) as many TDs as the Bills

- Pat Mahomes has 4x (28) as many TDs as the Bills

The Bills have thrown for 1,405 yards. There are 27 guys that have thrown for more.

The Bills have thrown 13 INTs in 242 pass attempts. Rodgers, Brady, Ryan, Alex Smith, Wentz, and Cousins have thrown 12 INTs in 1,584 pass attempts.

I need to get ready for work so that’s all that I have at the moment. Feel free to add. I’m sure there are some great numbers concerning our receivers.

I picked Ebron up in 3 of my fantasy league drafts this year because Andrew Luck throws to tight ends. He made Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener (two less talented players) look attractive FAs at one point because of his TE production.

I'm pleased for Ebron. He was drafted really high because he deserved to be on his college tape. He was totally misused and then given up on in Detroit - pleased to see him having a career revival.

It's OK, we have free agency and the NFL Draft to fix everything!

I would like to see Dawkins, Shady, Clay, Allen, Zay start next season.  And I would like 6 new starters on offense.  If we get two starters in FA and two in the draft- we still have 2 contributors to this historically awful offense starting

Tyrod was supposedly the worst ever according to our resident clowns but he accounted for more offensive TD's than Matt Ryan last year.

Sean's Jauron Ball kinda misses all those drive extending plays......like the 3rd and 11 dashes for first downs that fans started taking for granted that have since turned into demoralizing turnovers this year.

It was time for Tyrod to go but you can't replace something with nothing.

How about the rook QB that’s only started 5 games has 3 times the rushing TDs as any other player on the team.

So by seasons end, Brian Daboll will be the OC of the two worst NFL offenses since 2010 and probably worse. Coincidence? I hope the Bills get a real OC for 2019 to go along with a bunch of new players. I though Daboll was an uninspired hire at best, but he makes Dennison look good.

Why did you suddenly start caring about "passing TDs" after Taylor left?

If we had a dome we could attract more offensive talent.

I don't think that's a crazy thought. It's probably not happening any time soon though.

Interestingly enough, I still think the national media would find a way to act cold in a 72 degree dome if it were in Buffalo.

I didn’t but we have 3!! I also include Mahomes, total TDs in the 2nd section. I didn’t have time to dive into our anemic running game.

Tyrod led 2 top 10 scoring offenses, apples and oranges my friend.

Here are some receiving stats, since you asked for it:

The Bills leading receiver, Zay Jones, is 84th in yards and 77th in catches in the NFL.

Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh both have 5 players with more yards than our leading receiver. The Jags, with Bortles as QB, even have 4 such players.

There are 9 running backs with more receiving yards than our leading receiver and 15 running backs with more catches.

Someone tweeted yesterday that the best QB and the best WR in Buffalo were on the Bulls and not the Bills, and perhaps the best two WR. I know it is someone of a dated slam, but the QB and WR is actually true right now.

When I saw that Army had double the TD passes I was blown away. They have 68 passing attempts on the season!!

That's why we signed Barkley bro.  The Process, trust it.
