Rocbillsfan1
Because in back to back weeks our starting qb has had to leave the game due to getting hurt behind a horrible online. I’m pretty sure all 3 will play this year.

Showcase him on Thursday then trade him In addition to what others have posted about the atrocious oline play, may I add as well that you or I haven't got a clue what else AJ offers to this team even as a second or third QB. I have heard he is pretty good in the film room and can help 2 young QBs there. By your thought process, why keep Bush if we have Poyer and Hyde? So, lets recap. 1. Keep him because hes not an expensive player. 2. Not likely to find someone better at this point in preseason. 3.He has the most experience as an NFL QB in the QB room. 4. Bad oline play, really going to need depth at the position. 5. Can help Allen and Peterman in the film room. 6. Have to list his smoking hot wife.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce
4 minutes ago, Sky Diver said: AJ May start. week 4? could be or not “When you look across all three games to this point, including practice, but let’s just take the games, he has shown that consistency, which is good to see,” said McDermott. “A young player just in the start of his second season who has shown some poise and some understanding of how the NFL works in terms of defensive schemes. So I’ve watched him grow and develop, which is good to see. Still more work to do, but I think he has been consistent, which is important at the quarterback position.” Perhaps what is most impressive about Peterman’s game is his ball location. Not only is Peterman accurate most of the time, but his ball placement is almost always in a place where only his receiving target can make a play on the ball and not the defender. “I think he’s been accurate,” said McDermott. “We noticed that in college as well. Certainly, there are some throws he’d like back from practice to games, but again he gives the guys a chance to run after the catch, which is important.” Peterman was responsible for orchestrating both of the team’s touchdown drives in the second half. He’s a rhythm passer, who has generally made good decisions and been extremely accurate. That counts for a lot in the NFL. It appears he’s put himself in the best position to be named the starter, but he’s not assuming anything.
BillsSbSoon
For one thing he seems willing to help josh. On the sidelines yesterday you could see him talking to him, giving advice. But he has a smoking hot model wife so it adds to the hotness at the stadium. This alone is reason enough to keep him.

transplantbillsfan
So that when Peterman gets knocked out of the game in week 1, McCarron can step in so that Allen gets maybe another week or two of the OL trying to find ANY answer before he's inevitably thrust in as the starter when McCarron is then knocked out of the game in week 2, 3, or 4. Direhard Fan
I must add that Josh looked lost and held the ball to long. It wasn't all on the line. Not saying they didn't stink but he has to get rid of the ball and not take sacks. He should have had an int. also. Peterman should start. He looked poised and has shown promise. Formerly Allan in MD
With our very offensive line, we need as much insurance as possible behind center. In our next game, I don't want to see any of these three guys play. Actually, other teams (Redskins etc.) are bringing in cannon fodder quarterbacks for this week's games. Peterman can float a good ball to the sidelines, which looks good in pre-season play against a vanilla defense. Play a regular season game, against a tricked out D, and Petermen's skills will fade into nothing. Petermen's ceiling against regular season-D's is low. Allen's ceiling is higher. Over 29 years of fanhood
Because we really don’t know anything until a few games in. panthers didn’t rush or blitz in gm 1. so we’ve yet to see if Nate fixed his happy feet. He looked poor under pressure v Cleveland. Vs Cincinnati’s twos they dropped into cover what looked like cover four and no blitzes. A fresh aggressive defense will be the real litmus test. And i say once more. Wow what a difference between Cleveland and cincis 1s and 2s. O line was just abused

BuffaloBillies
I'd trade him. I'd trade Clay. I'd even trade McCoy. If can't get OL help this year through the trades, start stock-piling draft picks. OL is a disaster. This year is gonna be rough, start planning for next year.

The line was bad, but so was he. I was very disappointed when in the 1st quarter, he had 2 plays in a row where he could have done something, but made horrid passes instead. I'm talking about the one where he rolled out out of pressure to the right and had time and had Clay deep, but horribly under threw him. I was told with that cannon arm he would never under throw anyone. Luckily it wasn't a pick. The next play he had time and looked like some open guys but he just rifled it out there between them all. I'm not sure who he was throwing to. Another punt. He did make some nice short passes which I was glad to see.
