I'm ok with him gone I thought he was the definition of average, but they are running out of options I really hope they get Tahir Whitehead. I wanted Avery Williamson but the Jets got him.

Here are some FA ILB's.    Yeah, I would have liked Williamson also, and not happy a division rival got him!

Bowman would be great, likely out of price range.

D. Johnson would be interesting--not sure how much is left in the tank, but likely cut due to salary by KC.

Hodges and Bostic seem like guys that could play better in a different situation.

For those saying bye so easily, who is our starting MLB?  Especially if we trade up

That is my question. If we had signed a guy already cool, but Brown would've been at least decent enough to hold MLB for the time. Now its another hole and there ain't a lot left unless we draft a guy which is an unknown then.

Comp pick score card...

Signings                           Losses

- Star                                - Brown

- Murphy                         -  Henderson

- McCarron

- Bush

Davis and Ivory were not Unrestricted Free Agents but were street free agents

Bills have a long list of UFA's still to be signed by other teams including - Matthews, Gaines, Humber, Brandon Tate, Shereece Wright, Cedric Thornton who could draw interest.

Bills still could end up with a net loss.

Thanks, Preston.  Wish you well....

I hope this doesn't bite us. Preston was reliable and adapted everytime the defensive scheme and coordinator changed. There is some value to that.

That's true. he did bring worthy value.

Why is it always "overpay" when it comes to a FA? The NFL has billions of dollars and the salary cap is close to $180M per team. What do you think the contracts will look like?

I think "overpay" in terms of how much a player is costing against the cap.  I don't think anyone is like (at least not me when I use "overpay") WOW, that guy is making X mill a year.  Go pay a Dr. or lawyer that instead"

Agreed, not a superstar, but you can't afford a team full of superstars.

I think pick 12 goes for Roquan Smith and any QB Beane is eyeing might fall to 10 so he will package 22 with a couple other picks to get that player which is to say I doubt that he sees any one QB as head and shoulders above the others.
