Kirby Jackson
Rewarded for a great season, he is a talented guy (when healthy). Goodwin is a great guy and one that we should be happy for. Congrats to him!!!

The guy stuck around just long enough to make his mark and now he is getting some nice scratch for it. Good job, Marquis, and congrats! Bag of Milk
I wasn't a fan of Marquise Goodwin when he was with the Bills. In part because at the time, I felt we drafted him too damn high! He was inexperienced as a WR and and ran such a limited route tree.... and then the constant injuries.... Props to Goodwin for working incredibly hard and securing himself a place in this league! Kirby Jackson
Just now, jmc12290 said: One overpaid player is not a market made. Key word there is “market.” This is a bad we class and there are some WR needy teams with tons of cap space. The Browns, 49ers, Rams, Bears and some others all will be in the mix. The market will drive Watkins way up. He is going to get that $14M annually. I’m pretty confident in that.
Freddie's Dead
The 'quise hate runs deep at TBD, but not with me. Love this guy and glad to see him getting paid. Arguably, he'd have been better than any WR on this team last year. You go, 'quise!

dollars 2 donuts
Man, who'd o' thunk it in August: Goodwin with an 8 figure deal, with 8 figures guaranteed and Jordan Matthews wondering where he is going to end up and (speculation here) whether anyone is going to sign him for more than a 1 year, 5 million dollar tryout. It is along the lines of just making the call now: Cadet will get a 4 year, 20 million dollar deal that's considered a steal while Shady is waiting with baited breathe for free agency to start. The_Dude
Wasn’t he one of the guys who could never get open according to Bills fans? ....dumbest argument I heard during the draft was that our passing game sucked not because of who the QB was but the receivers. His stated goal in football was getting a second contract...........not the "flyer" deal he got last year......but THIS.......a $10M guarantee deal. Why not just put in a SECOND big year with Jimmy G at QB all season and go get a fat 4-5 year deal with $25-30M in guarantees? Hmmmmm. Well played Goodwin. Good luck with that, Niners.
