Why do so many people mistake Luke McCown and Josh McCown? I don't mean that as an attack at all, It just breaks my brain every-time i see it and I get super confused!

Also, as a rule, I would rather see Mayfield in Buffalo and Rosen in the Meadowlands for the Jets. Just my personal preference, but I could definitely root for one or the other and consequently root for the other to be a bust.

In fact, my attitude towards them will drastically change when their future employer is revealed. :P

I know this isn't a mock draft, but putting Jackson to the Ravens would mean middle of round 1, or middle of round 2... I don't see it in the first, and I think he doesn't fall past the Jags at 28.  I think Rudolph for Jax is questionable as you really have to wonder if he is at all an upgrade to Bortles. I guess if he falls in the second it could make sense.

I do think the Ravens do something unexpected to the QB position this year. Tyrod reunion?

I don't see Teddy re-signing in Min if Keenum is there, but I have literally no idea where he goes. I don't think he affects all that much, but man, that will be interesting to see that unfold. I wonder about a place like Miami or Cin for him where there is a marginal starter who fans will throw to the wolves quickly if they falter.

I think Keenum is either back in MIN or goes to Arizona. (though of all the non-cousins FA's I wouldn't mind seeing him in Buffalo)

Arizona as a whole is a unique situation. They look like a great fit for Foles or Keenum due to the fact that they are a bit older to begin with and want to use Fitz, and Johnson, and that defense while they still can. However, they are in a good place to take a crack at a top QB in the draft.

I still can't see the Giants taking a QB in the first, but I agree with him that Allen makes a lot of sense there. I think most people agree that Allen has the most potential, so what better place for him than somewhere he can sit a couple years.

I can't help but wonder if the Cousins to Denver thing is not slightly oversold.... I see why it makes sense, but it isn't nearly as cut and dry as people make it out to be. That defense is old and headed for a rebuild. Those pass catchers are old and one of them (potentially both) will likely be gone soon. There is no offensive line to speak of and the running game is wildly inconsistant. Vance doesn't seem to inspire as a coach, and Elway hasn't shown much in regards to his ability to consistently rebuild and restore his team to keep them competitive and it feels like the window is closing hard. I don't know if it makes sense for Cousins- Especially if a team like Minnesota or Jacksonville comes calling. Really, I think those two teams are now what the Broncos were when Manning hit the market- young up and comers with amazing defenses and good play-makers.

Cincinnati has to do something at QB to at least pretend like they want to win. Although after resigning Lewis they might not even have to pretend anymore. (They make the most sense for Tyrod to me.)

The two Sams to Cleveland makes way too much sense. I don't see A.J. wanting to go there when they're still going to draft a top 5 QB.

Tyrod to Miami makes a ton of sense to me. Can't believe we haven't discussed this before. I wouldn't love to see that because he is a headache to defend at times and I've always enjoyed the fact that Ryan Tannehill is basic and vanilla. If Taylor is in Miami I predict he'll be starting by week 5 (if not opening day).

I would never thought Taylor to the Dolphins...but when you think about it, some of Taylor’s best games are against Miami.  Their fans must think he is some kind of world beater.

But then he can’t play the Dolphins anymore so his value plummets ?

Backup role is all Tyrod may get.  With Moore and Cutler likely out of Miami, you're going to need a quality backup to the injury prone Ryan Tannehill.

I think Miami needs to find a "backup" with a lot of potential- Like Bridgewater or Taylor (maybe McCarron) so that Gase has something he can use to create a spark if Tannehill doesn't look good.

I don’t think Mccarron is going to choose to sign anywhere that he doesn’t have a decent chance to start out of the gate.

I don't care what these guys say you are going to play harder against someone you hate versus someone you like.

Seen this on a bunch of other posts.

JOSH McCown.

Not Luke.

Anyway I'm okay with this list if it happens.

Especially the Tyrod to Miami.

I hope he takes his "talents" to South Beach.

They can have him.

They did get swept by the Fish in 2016.

I'm not a big fan of RT, but he is a slightly better QB than TT.

The 2016 sweep was largely because of the Bills' horrific run defense that allowed Ajayi to rush for well over 200 yards in both games. Tannehill did very little in the first game and did not play at all in the second. Meanwhile, Taylor had his best passing game as a pro in that second game. Aside from those two games, Tyrod is 4-0 against the Dolphins (with and without Tannehill).

I am more than ready to see Tyrod go, but there is no way I would say that he is inferior to Tannehill.

I stand corrected.   I will also reiterate that the Bills have faced the Fish that had also rushed for 200 yards and yet the Bills won on 2 previous occasions IIRC

getting gashed sucked, but your own offense can still outperform that team.

With all of the crappy, click bait titles and poorly written original posts, I would just like to say thanks to the OP for, what I personally consider to be, perfectly beginning a thread.  Great title with enough info to decide whether or not to open it; and you displayed the pertinent information from the article for those who either don't want to - or don't have time to - click on the link to read through the article.  Thank you!

EDIT/ADD:  And I would be down with this - mostly because we'd be able to face Tyrod twice/year!!

If Miami is lucky, their fans aren't making (or influencing) the pick

Well, he is.  But does the Dolphins FO know that he is?  They don't seem too interested in developing to his strengths.

There IS something about Marine Mammals that seems to bring out the best in Tyrod.

I don’t want Mayfield haunting us for 15 years. Let them get Allen

We live in a reality where whatever QB the Jets get will be a star, and whatever QB we get will bust. It's what we've been programmed to accept. We have been conditioned.

If we somehow bust this and make it not so, then we will know we're moving in the right direction.

Agreed it could be a turning point for both franchise in either direction.  Let's get that QB right!

New Orleans: Drew Brees and Luke Falk. I can’t see Brees, 39, going elsewhere. I see him playing out his last two or three years (or more) with Sean Payton, particularly with the Saints being on the cusp of another competitive run. Falk? Precision passer (69, 70, 67 percent accurate in his last three years at Washington State) who could use some development. You know who wouldn’t surprise me here? Tyrod Taylor. I think Payton could do very good things with him. By the way, I hear Payton loves Mayfield too. Hard to imagine, though, that Payton and GM Mickey Loomis could move up high enough from their first-round slot (27th overall) to get in position to get Mayfield.

I also could see Taylor swallowing his pride and take a backup job to work in that system...

I think part of that issue started when many of the current generarion of players started considering themselves businessmen first and athletes second.

Man I hope this is true.

Taylor to Miami would give us a good chance to sweep those 2 divisional games as well.

Why are the Giants taking Allen?

Anyone buying that?

Part of me wonders if every team is using Josh Allen as a smokescreen, kind of like how Nassib and Barkley got all the buzz in 2013. Another part of me knows GMs make the same mistakes with big strong armed QBs every single year and that part of me is scared the Bills really like him.
