sven233
Benjamin AllbrightVerified account @AllbrightNFL #Bills have been calling around, pursuing potential trade partners in the top ten of this year's draft. Presumably for a shot at a quarterback. Been saying it from the start..... WHATEVER IT TAKES. It's time for the everyone to stop accepting below average QB play and start expecting greatness. Whatever it takes to get one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. If it works, that's awesome and we're set. And you know what? If it doesn't......there is a Draft every single year and we can try again. BillsFan4
Glad to hear they are looking into getting a top 10 pick. Not sure top 10 is good enough though. I think it may have to be a top 5, or even top 3 pick depending on what QB(s) they want. I really want one of the big 3 (Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield). If we aren't getting one of those 3, I'm not sure I'd trade up for any of the others. Just my opinion.
BrooklynBills
This would be a setup to get to #2 IMO. Something like 21, 53, Shaq Lawson to CHI for 8. Then 8, 22, Glenn, 19 2nd for 2 I wouldnt doubt Beane has already talked to Gettleman and was told get a top 10 pick and we have the framework for a deal
KDIGGZ
What if they move up and take..a LB? McD wants a Keuchly type for his defense. I might be officially done with this team if that were the case. I don't really like any other sports so I hope that's not the case. Has to be a QB. Don't move up for anyone but a QB. It's such an obvious thing that I can't believe I have to even say it. QB QB QB. Who is on their draft board? Who cares, get a QB. Do we care who is on the Pats draft board? No, they have a QB and everyone else is just the supporting cast. This is the year to get the QB. Get one of the top guys. DO IT! Don't post a million threads about should they or shouldn't they. They have to. There are probably 3-4 long term franchise QB's and they will cost a fraction of what a mediocre veteran will over the next 5 yrs. DO IT BEANE!!

If they get the pick before the draft, would they try to go higher? If they get a top 10 pick before the draft, and by their pick, Darnold, Rosen, and Mayfield are gone...would they settle for Allen, Rudolph, or Jackson, take a different player, or trade back down? Yes and Denver’s 1st and 2nd are worth more than the Bills’ 2 1sts. It will take A LOT to get ahead of the Broncos and Jets if those teams want QBs. I think it would be almost impossible if the Bills are in a bidding war with both of those reams.
Virgil
Every team does this. Doesn’t mean anything. Everyone does their homework to see all their options. And it doesn't surprise me that the Bills are calling around. It's called 'due diligence.' The Bills want to have a sense of what it would cost to dance with prospective trade partners. What we don't know is what price the Bills might be willing to pay for any of this year's quarterbacks. Or whether the teams in the top 5 or 10 might be willing to trade down. Allbright's tweet effectively tells us nothing. It'll be an interesting draft - one that's sure to sorely disappoint some fans.
