What are your two biggest wishes this offseason?

Recommended Posts

My first one is pretty obvious, a QB that can lead the Bills forward into the playoffs. My second would be that I'd like to see the Bills on Hard Knocks. It might be a distraction but I just want to see it.

I think the Bills we NFL's darling team this year so they must run with it

How bout you?

1, vet QB to improve over TT and though only a bridge to a franchise QB can help us achieve the next step of going deeper in the playoffs.

2.  Trade down to acquire even more picks in this apparently deep draft to build a juggernaut for 2018 that allows us to trade up and draft a franchise QB in 2019 following the Big Ben/Pitts model!

Why in the world would we turn around and give KC's first round pick back for Alex Smith?

They aren't giving up a top ten QB for nothing.

I think we can get Alex Smith for a 2nd and that’s the steepest price we’d pay

I wouldn't trade for him, but I think they would want more.

I and 99.99999% of Bills fans agree with you on the first thing.

I also wouldn't mind Hard Knocks but unfortunately, teams that made the playoffs aren't eligible. Sorry to burst that bubble but re-read that sentence....isn't it still amazing see the word playoffs and not feel terrible anymore?

To get Alex Smith we probably would have to use one of our first rounders. I also think we would have to trade up Roquan.

KC is in big CAP trouble......currently proj $8 mil over

they must trade or cut alex smith

I doubt they get a first rounder

They traded 2 seconds 5 years ago.

I think at this point they would settle for a 2019  2nd or 3rd depending on how many teams show interest.

why the rush on finding a franchise QB ? (sarcasm) every 10 years or so....a no name QB proves you can win by surrounding him with talent

Aww that did burst my bubble. I knew a few things excluded a team like first year head coaches but didn't know about playoff teams being excluded. Probably makes sense though, otherwise we'll see the pats year after year.

Draft a QB in the 1st round.

Get rid of Tyrod

XRX....Tyrod leaving is now pretty much a foregone conclusion.  Which will make us fans happy. Now the young qb search begins.  And it will likely have to include us landing Alex Smith for a couple years to mentor whoever.

1. Draft QB

2. Sign A Smith to 2 yr deal.

.....then keep retooling the front 7

Dude, its Alex Smiff we're talking about, not Skelton.  It absolutely will not require anything higher than a 4th.  KC might cut him and move on with the jeffismagic era.
