Lurker
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/27/mario-williams-pokes-fun-at-hernandez-on-instragram-page/ Too many cringe-worthy stories about him lately, IMO. This will be an interesting year for Mario in a defense that should feature him more than Wanny's did...

biglukes
Cringe worthy? I don't know about that. He hasn't done anything wrong or illegal. It's not like he's slacking in practice or anything. He's just poking fun at the guy that we all have been. It's a pretty funny picture. Tim Graham has his panties in a bunch over nothing. Big surprise. Edited June 28, 2013 by biglukes

Stealth
PC crowd control is out in full force. Must be serious at all times. It's like people forget that just like EVERYONE ELSE people like to make off hand jokes on occasion. Hernandez deserves to be made fun of. MarkKelso'sHelmet
silly. who cares. there is nothing wrong with gun enthusiasts. this is coming from a pro-control socialist. the NFL is so afraid of offending everyone it's gotten to the point of absurdity. tim graham, his job is to write about the bills 365 days a year. there is so little news right now that journalists have to invent things that are interesting. nothing to see here. KD in CA
I don't know about cringe-worthy, seems harmless and kinda funny. Personally I'd rather players never used those silly social media sites, but this is pretty tame.
sodbuster
The cartoon might be in bad taste, but as for the firearms, get over it, people. I think that much of the "outrage" of these photos is race based. Would anybody give a crap about Chris Kelsey, or kw, or jimbo with a similar pic? Maybe I'm wrong. The dude is even wearing ear and eye protection, and is shooting in what appears to be a safe environment. If anything, more pictures of firearms being used in this manner should be put out there, to show gun safety is the way to go.

fansince88
Good to know Tank is unarmed. That to me is the supprise of the whole story. It is one thing to be anti gun but if you are a big celebrity why announce that you are not protecting yourself? That would be a blast to shoot. But I live in the great State of NY. I don't know if you're right or wrong, but I don't recall much hubbub about Jared Allen's affinity for guns T Maybe Mario should put on some camo and it'd be all good. jimmy10
How is there anything wrong with this? Did people cry havoc and let slip the dogs of bitchiness last year when Mario put up the Super Mario Brothers graphic that featured him throwing fireballs at Tom Brady? This is much ado about nothing. I'm not even a gun enthusiast, but Mario has been pretty explicit about how he handles guns safely and within the boundaries of the law (I remember him talking about parts of his firearm collection he couldn't bring to NY because of various state laws). If the NFL even has a gun problem, Mario ain't part of it.

benderbender
What is with this double standard? When OJ was accused of murder there were jokes from day 1. Now suddenly no one can speak their opinions about Hernandez (even separate from the charges) without being criticized. I didn't know Bellicheat had such a far reach.
