  1. The guy openly rooted for us to lose week 1 against NE. Everything NE did was amazing. He also openly waited for us to choke in the KC game. I don't care if he's a nice guy he's a choad of an announcer who gets about as indepth as a 12 year old playing catch in a parking lot
  2. I believe Colin Brown was still playing for the Bills during the 1st bills/jets game. Not that Legursky is much better, but better than Brown all the same. I also think it has a lot to do with Hackett slowing down the offense a bit. Let's not overlook that during the first few weeks, although we still run a fast paced offense, it's not ran as quick play to play as we did in the beginning of the season. EJ has more time to discet the defensive formations. This time around EJ was less hesistant on pulling the trigger on taking shots down the field, and our speedster wide receivers came through for us. There was plenty of time EJ was under pressure, but he gave his receivers chances to make plays, and they did just that. Hopefully this kind of progression only continues as we come down the home stretch of the season
  3. Country music is like whining nails on a chalkboard to me, to each their own. Aaron Williams has become a much better all around player, playing his natural safety position in a defense that suits his style of play. He was a better safety at Texas than he was a corner. Why he wasn't playing safety from the jump will forever be the question
  4. I refer you to last season where he had more yards after initial contact of any rb in the NFL not named Adrian Peterson, and his ratio of yards after initial contact was the highest in the league considering that he didnt get that many carries. He can break tackles. Personally I don't get why they don't use him down there. Fred has never been that effective, and to me although he's a hard rb to bring down due to his height makes him a liability in goalline situations where you have to get low. I think spiller being the quicker of the two could be more productive in that role
  5. Mario Williams is having a fantastic year. Pettine's defense fits him like a glove
  6. Still see the same problems with this team. Under utilized offensive personell with speed. They don't design plays well to utilize some of these wr's. For all the speed Spiller/Graham/Goodwin, and hell even EJ have more can be done. Under physicial on defense. Although there are some players who are impressive, and over time in this scheme I believe we'll get better, but too often get pushed around at the los in the run game, and no consistent pocket push on pass rush. Our front 4 should be much better than they are, but it only happens in spurts. This really shows up in divisional games. Not impressed yet, but there's encouraging signs that it can be fixed without a overhaul
  7. I might be in the minority, but to me football is not a "classy" game. Obviously I don't play in the NFL, but when I did play football as a young kid-highschool when the opportunity presented itself I would taunt people relentlessly. You're not having tea and crumpets and playing a friendly game of bridge. You're playing a violent collision sport. I never had an issue with players boasting after making a play. That in and of itself makes the game fun.
  8. Sometimes teams make mistakes when it comes to qb's as Bills fans we should be well aware of this. For every Drew Brees, Andrew Luck. There's always a Matt Flynn and Blaine Gabbert **** happens
  9. How about we do what we've been doing which includes not benching Spiller, because hey we have the #2 rushing offense in the league?!? Yeah I'll go with the not benching and continue the split carries.
  10. when this secondary is healthy this defense will take that next jump.
  11. I'm not a playcalling expert but would it really be a bad thing to attempt a pass play on 1st or 2nd down at some point?!?
  12. He has his limitations but yeah he's turned out to be a hell of a signing
  13. Let me get this right, as I want to understand what I just read..... Virtual unknown 7th rd safety Antionio Allen who knows CJ Spiller but doesn't really know him, but he got the opportunity to say hello to him last year, so hey knows him, oh and he remembered him from highschool even though he didn't know him but assumes he's the same person he was then, knows how to stop CJ Spiller?!? Alrighty then
  14. My favorite Bills memory easily October 24th, 1993. Bills @ NYJ week 8. Although largely an irrelevant game. It holds significance to me being my first Bills game I went to with my dad a month before he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed on the right side of his body. More of one of those emotionally important things that'll always stick with me.
  15. EJ Manuel's tats kinda clash with the color scheme of the Bills thus why he covers them up. Although with the Bills going with Blue Pants this week he should let his tats show
  16. How do I put this having lived in NJ my whole life. Giants fans are like head in the clouds rich old men. They'll puff their chests a bit when they're winning but disappear when they're not. Usually act reserved and quiet, unless you put them in an area with Cowboy fans. Jets fans are college kids. Loud, obnoxious drunk, bratty. They'll talk **** for the sake of talking ****. As far as a football atmosphere I like fan banter as long as it doesn't devolve into fist fighting.
  17. Aaron Williams is indeed a safety as he should've been from day 1.
  18. I don't discredit what the Patriots have done overall or what Brady has done in his career. However they're not the gold standard of the NFL anymore. Infact I'd go as far to say they've been the benefactors of an extremely piss poor division. Tom Brady throughout 90% of his career has not had a legit challenger within his own division. The Steelers have had to deal with Balt and Cincy. The Colts when Manning was there at times Houston/Tenn and even Jacksonville have been pretty good. The Giants have had to deal with the Eagles and Cowboys, Breees has to face Matt Ryan twice a year. Rodgers has Cutler and the Vikings with AP. Seattle/SF and even STL is upcoming in that division. I take zero away from career accomplishments but Brady has had it probably easier than almost every other winning qb in the league as far as being challenged in his own division. I think as the years go by this shows when the pats actually come across teams that can play above average football.
  19. He was a productive #3 wr for us on the verge of becoming a pretty good slot guy before injuries derailed his career. As for Donald Jones that's what I'd call a marginal NFL player
  20. Good so they're naive to the experience of suck that has circled the drains around WNY. Maybe they can turn that around soon enough
  21. Tech N9ne has been underrated for years. His label Strange Music is easily the best thing going in hip hop today. Lyricists out the wazoo. From Mayday/Ces Cru/Krizz Kaliko/Rittz Also of note on the chorus. The original intended lyrics were "Holding guns while burning bibles" Tech asked Serj to change it, due to not wanting to be viewed as a Satanist.
