  1. What exactly about a 1/1 career td/int ratio is dazzling to you? Or maybe your sarcastic comment in return to my sarcastic post was misinterpreted. I've seen many people post about how this is going to be a good idea. It's not. Supporting it means you are desperate for anything at this point. Throwing away another year on a journeyman back up has been seems like the only option, it's not. This signing is about quelling the fear of fans. It doesn't make our team better. If anything it drags us back into the endless QB cycle we've been in for decades. Perhaps you are confused. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/176153-closedjosh-mccown-why-not/?hl=josh+mccown
  2. Please read this before you start topics about a career back up and try to tell me how awesome he is. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McCoJo01.htm Hip Hip Hooray!
  3. Can you please look at his career stats before posting something like this. Career completion % under 60 and would have been far worse if not for 1 good year with the Bears. Same goes for td/int ratio. Practically 1/1 and would have been way worse if not for that year. You should do your homework.
  4. Gailey is the only coach who has got production out of a running back who should have made the pro bowl 4 times by now. The way this coaching staff, yeah Hackett I'm looking at you, has used CJ is baffling.
  5. Week 1. It look like he meant to hurdle the punter then realized he wasn't going to get over him then just kicked him in the face. If stiff arms are legal, should stiff "legs" be legal too?
  6. Pettines D is pretty aggressive. When it works its awesome and people love the sacks/interceptions it creates. When he guesses wrong, holes in the defense get exposed. Jim Leonhard whiffing on the second TD run was a prime example. Steven Jackson saw the match up he wanted to exploit and headed right at leonhard.
  7. The "over pursuit" everyone is talking about wasn't, in fact. Kiko was playing his gap responsibility. Moats had the gap the play went through but got caught up in traffic trying to fight over a guard or center. Yeah Kiko maybe could have made a better play there, but this defense keeps preaching play your own responsibility and don't over extend. You guys do know that the running back we had to defend today was Steven Jackson right? Just because he was hurt for a couple games this year, people forget how good this guy is.
  8. Are you really trying to prove your point using Derek Anderson? You do know that our offensive line is a big reason why we are 3rd in the league in rushing and in the top five in completion percentage when blitzed right?
  9. Me Too! I almost crapped myself when they didn't run on a first down. Screens, sneaks, reverses? Who are these guys?
  10. Man what a difference weeks make in the NFL. The first game EJ couldn't get into his drop before there were Jets in his face. This week it seemed as if there were no pass rush at all. Granted EJ did throw the ball when he got to the top of his drop. He didn't stand around patting the ball, but he didn't seemed rushed on most of his throw plays. Did Hackett do something that created so much confusion on defense or were the jets just not able to beat our o-line?
  11. Bill usually I can't wait to read your post about the games each week. Having said that, you phoned this one in. Maybe you wrote off the Bills chances early like the rest of the country and therefore didn't watch as intently as usual. If I see you stroke Searcy's ego, or bag on Kyle Williams in one more of these posts I'll puke. I think you put more effort into looking up Grateful Dead tunes then watching Gilmore play. If you did you would see that he was playing with one hand. A press corner playing one handed is the wrong move by the coaching staff. I did agree with you on two points though. Chris Hogan? Seriously? Easly really only plays ST? What a joke. I know people didn't want to keep around a developmental WR prospect, but could Darrick Rodgers be any more useless then Hogan? The second point I agree with, no its not giving kudos to a kid that juggles the ball every attempt he makes to catch it, but Coach Marrone going for it on fourth down. People are going to hate, but with a team like ours, we need to be aggressive; Offense, defense and special teams. Come on Bill. Every one plays through injuries. You need to step it up.
  12. Yeah if you pay attention to ANY football news you would see that we aren't the only team that sustains serious injury every year. It's the NFL 2013. Injuries are a big part of any teams season. Good teams have depth that steps up when its needed.
  13. I couldn't have said it better myself. I just kept saying to myself as EJ was running for his life, "where is the screen pass, run a f$%@ing screen pass!" You could tell that the offense wasn't in a rhythm and it starts when your QB is running for his life because the D is just coming with reckless abandon. They had no chance doing the things they were doing. Our offense still needs major work. Most of the receivers couldn't beat the press coverage, and when they did the QB threw it out of bounds. Without timing these west coast principles don't work.
