I expect him to do very well this season if Allen learns to trust him. You mean if Dorsey can actually incorporate him into the offense and if Allen can actually hit him in stride. Anything over 4 mil for this guy is too much for me, with who we already have and his injury last year. We just have other needs. That's 4 mil that could have gone to Jeudy 3.7M cap hit this year, with an out next year if it doesn’t work out.

Let's hope one is available in the draft. My point is replacing Crowder, McKenzie and Beasley from last year with 1 small receiver this year isn't a problem with me. I see your point I think the room lacks a receiver who can make a contested catch
NewEra
14 minutes ago, Billz4ever said: I like the signing because we obviously need more legit weapons, but my only question is what's going on with Shakir? I was hoping this year he was going to take over the slot role. I hear ya. I love shakir….but I wasn’t ready to give him the keys to the slot yet after what we saw last year. This gives us options and depth. It gives us the speed and take it to the house ability that we’ve been missing. defenses have to account for his speed
ScottLaw
8 minutes ago, Sammy Watkins' Rib said: I don't think they do. I've said it before. Change the X's and O's and not just the Jimmy's and Joe's. Spread the ball around more. Gabe can work as the #2 on the outside. But he should not be 25+ targets ahead of the player with the 3rd most targets on the team. Ideally, Gabe as the starting outside WR will be 3rd or 4th on the team in targets. Knox needs considerably more targets, maybe second on the team. And Shakir should be right around whatever number of targets Gabe gets give or take a few targets. And the RB's need to get a ton more targets in the passing game. Also, I think Shakir is a WR that can split time between both slot and outside if needed. I don't think he is strictly a slot receiver. It might be where he is best suited on our team but he can fill in outside I think. What an awful plan.
MrEpsYtown
Dorsey needs to devote his entire off-season to the screen and quick game. And deep crossers. I have some really effective screens on my HS team I teach him.

HappyDays
My main concern is just his injury history. If he stays healthy he looks like a big upgrade on McKenzie with only a small increase in the cap hit. 2 1 1

Airseven
10 minutes ago, 78thealltimegreat said: If Harty is on the roster with McKenzie Gabe Davis is the only receiver taller than 6’1 Really feels like McKenzie is on the chopping block. Cutting him would save $2+M with minimal dead money. They’re probably still hunting for a 7th rd pick for him at this point. Essentially it’d become McKenzie for Harty. Also, have to think they consider WR in the first 3 rounds as a potential WR2.

I changed to thank you to you because I agree with your "why?" Spotrac figured him at about 8.5 million. I don't agree with the signing, either way. Are you s****ing me that this is a concern for this team right now?! A STer and iMck replacement?! Waiting for the "Beane knows more than you" group so I can fart in your general direction. Coincidentally, I am loading up on beans for ammo. I couldn't care less what they know as I generally have not been pleased with their drafting and FAs for the last couple of years. Yes, even the Von Miller signing. I'll be thrilled when he makes it to the post season for us, and our whole defensive philosophy isn't dependent upon a 33-34 year old playing. That's it. Lunch! Sammy Watkins' Rib
1 minute ago, ScottLaw said: What an awful plan. I think it is clear we need to change the X's and O's though. Look at the Chiefs model. They get everyone involved in the passing game. We need to open it up. The Rb's and Knox most importantly need a lot more targets. That will naturally bring Gabe's target percentage down. It will make the Bills a more well rounded team. Everyone is talking about personnel but not talking about how we need to use the personnel. It's like they just want two #1 Wr's and to go target heavy to those guys.

Desert Bills Fan
Added some speed and WR depth - OK. For a team that brought in Beasley and Brown at the end of the year , can see this add. But don’t see this solving anything other than McKenzie didn’t work out well last year…. keep digging Beane
