Cover 1 promoting an undersized 3T for draft

People go full stupid around the draft

Not sure he has an NFL future at that size. You could try him as a pass rush specialist, only bring him in on passing downs, but he’d have to be really, really good. Kyle Williams fell to the 5th round because experts thought he was too small and he was a lot bigger (and probably stronger) than this guy. Small dudes don’t regularly win in the trenches.

Why does Cover 1 keep thinking we have all these extra draft picks for more Defensive Lineman?

We have 4 WRs under contract for next season, one starting RB is a FA, Boettger, Saffold, Van Roten are free agents, and Quesenberry is a FA too.

Lets keep hammering away at DLine!

But these are the guys that like our weapons as is offensively.

Right. This is the type of guy the Bills CANT justify taking. They just have to move on from the body type / body transformation guys they think they can pull off. It’s over Johnny. Just draft guys to to what they do best. Forget that nonsense for a year or two and see how that goes. Please.

We have what? 2 2nds, 2 1sts, and a huge FA contract into the DL?

If it isn't good enough yet the guys picking are the issue, hard to think anything different.

We have 5 1st and 2nd round picks with a large FA contract in the front 7 and look like we pieced it together from bargain FAs most of the time, it's sad.

And our defense gets pushed around all over the field, when we play a physical team.

If it wasn’t at the expense of adding talent to an offense that really needs it, then it would be a different situation. Day 1 and 2 picks under this regime:

DL - 2 Firsts, 2 Seconds, 1 Third (and a huge FA signing with Miller)

LBs - 1 First, 1 Third

DBs - 2 Firsts

Day 1 & 2 picks on offense:

QB - 1 First

RB - 1 second, 2 Thirds

WR - 1 First traded for Diggs, 1 Second

TE - 1 Third

OL - 1 Second, 1 Third

In an offense driven league.
