Although I don't know if that would be considered a neutral site location. Bills fans have been invading MetLife in large numbers. Recently the crowds have been 50-50 and that is against the Jets. I don't know how many Chiefs fans would travel but the Bills would have the majority of the crowd at MetLife. True, MetLife would be relatively easy travel, but I’d bet Bills fans would take over any neutral site.

I think so too, but I also think Indy would be the worst for us. Lots of KC fans in the St. Louis area now that they don't have a team, and that's an easy drive for them. You almost have to put it somewhere where it's an equally difficult trek for both local fanbases, like Atlanta -- easily accessible by plane, not so much by car. But with the number of expat Bills fans in the Carolinas, I'd expect that place to be overrun by us.

LabattBlue
People will complain about anything. No matter where the game is, an equal number of tix will be offered to STH from both clubs. If it is Indy, it doesn’t mean 80% Chiefs fans. ….and no, a dome game is NOT a disadvantage to Josh & Co. This seems unfair to KC becuase the unequal game thing is still in affect and if it was played, it is possible KC could have gotten the one seed outright. I dont think they listed all the possibilities. Did they say how they will sell seats for the neutral site game? It is possible they will give the option to season ticket holders. While I understand your frustration, do you not see there is no ideal solution here? It is at a neutral site because home field was not fully determined, it could have gone either way including the Bills not having it meaning you would have to go to KC.

Orlando Tim
Someone stated it earlier- is the NFL testing out a neutral site plan for the conference championships? Current version guarantees sell outs but is the cash possibility greater with neutral site? We know money is their largest motivator. If we make it that far Yeah but what’s more fun than smashing the Patriots in the final game of the season at home? Bills will be angry. Let’s go Ravens and Raiders!! The Buffalo to Atlanta flying experience, combined with the Atlanta airport experience, is a clusterfück the likes of which will be told of for generations. Assuming this decision has to be made between these two locations, I just don't see how Atlanta is the choice, really for any reason at all. The only thing that could change my mind about it is if for some reason the grass/turf surface in ATL is preferred over whatever they have in Indy. God knows what kind of garbage ass fields might have to be played on with this shifting around.

The game should be played outdoors on grass in a stadium Bills fans can easily get to. 😁

From what I've heard, one of the best fan friendly stadiums in the country. Never got to see a game there during my time in the South, but damn, such a cool and fun city. As for the weather, with things as wacky as they are now it's equally likely to be 15 degrees or 55 degrees.
DCofNC
I would think they would be looking at equal distance locations and teams out of the playoffs, so after this week it would be more clear where that would be. Tenn makes sense for accommodations being readily available. I’m rooting for Carolina (so it’s easy for me to go 😜) I would think Houston might be good too. FLFan
With Indy and Detroit out, Atlanta becomes the best location. It’s neutral, an NFC city, indoors, easy to get to, time zone friendly and seems available. New Orleans maybe? They could play outdoors, potentially in AZ, but that seems like a more difficult road.

Moot point now, but I was referring to the St. Louis / eastern MO fan base that is 4 or 5 hours closer to Indy. Most football fans in that area drifted to the Chiefs between the Cardinals’ and Rams’ tenure, and again after the Rams left. St. Louis wants nothing to do with those franchises in their new cities and Chicago just isn’t an option. We don’t have that kind of fan base beyond about Erie (although we do have expats everywhere).
