Chaos
It seems Mahomes can still be MVP if the Bills stumble in a major way. Hard to see Jackson or Rodgers getting back in the discussion. Allen should be considered the heavy favorite after today. 2

Bills getting the W is the single biggest thing going in Allen's favor. Down the stretch it could turn into a Allen vs. Hurts contest if the Eagles keep winning.

But i don't really see many more of those games. I do have a feeling the offense might have a tough game against the Jets of all teams. But hopefully not a Miami/Jags type of game.

Allen is leading the MVP race by quite a bit now.

Yeah, Mahomes was lights out since 2018 but it's simply not a fair comparison. Mahomes sat a year and was give the keys to a Ferrari. Allen was thrown in as a rookie and given the keys to a Pinto. 2020 is really when you have to make the comparisons with these two QB's and Allen and Mahomes are nearly the same QB. Allen probably even better. 5
ToGoGo
It clicked for me today the difference between Allen and Mahomes. Allen has to carry the team/organization/fanbase/convince the media to victory every game. Everybody leans on him, and his best players run near the front with him. Mahomes is CARRIED by his O-Line, Kelce, Hill (in previous years), infinite YAC 62 yard field goal kicker, coaches, the refs, media, etc. The poster above said it best. He was given the keys to a Ferrari. You know the difference between the two? At the end of the 1st half, Allen had to drive 99 yards and threw a beautiful TD pass to get the glory. Mahomes had to gain 30 yards and lean on his kicker to hit a 62 yarder to get equal glory. Allen threw a bomb to Diggs, Mahomes needed Smith-Schuster to have 3 tacklers miss so he can run 30 yards into the end zone. One guy carries, the other guy is carried. You know when we won the game today? After Allen hurdled the Chiefs player, the look on Mahomes face said it all. "I can't do that. Oh I need to score a TD now with a minute left or we lose? I don't like that." The more Allen grows, the more the truth comes out. Allen is Atlas carrying the globe, and Mahomes expects the world to give him what he wants. Don't get me wrong, Mahomes is a HOF talent, but he's no JOSH ALLEN. In the image below, guess which one is Allen and which is Mahomes. 3 1

If this happens as you state both record and stat wise, Allen wins in a landslide. MVP race is somewhat preordained at beginning of season. Someone would have to totally out play Allen or Mahomes, or Jackson to have a chance. Voters too would tend to be less impressed with a QB's running TD's than passing as passing is the QB's #1 job. Yes record matters, but would need to be much different than 1 game apart. Maybe is Bills finish 11-6, then Hurts has a shot.

PrimeTime101
Tired of Lamar Jacksons name being near the top on MVP. Just passing Lamar Jackson averages 177.83 Yards a game 2td a game 62 yards rushing a game. .333 rushing TD a game Totaling 240 total yards a game 2.33 TD a game. Lets talk about Josh Allen 275.17 yards passing a game **JUST PASSING 2.333 TD a game passing 42.5 yards rushing a game 1TD+ (fractions of fraction) rushing a game. Total 317.67 total yards a game Around 3.333 total TD a game. Who the heck cares if Lamar rushes for 2 more yards a game with those passing yards? Lamar should not even be at 1000 and i bet he will still be 600-750 in mvp odds. Crazy.
