HappyDays
Quote Most of the women Watson saw for massages did not sue or call the police. But even some who did not complain said Watson came looking for sex. The woman who sold bottles of cleanser to Watson had a few appointments with him during the summer of 2020. This aesthetician, who spoke on condition of anonymity to protect her privacy, told Watson when he booked an appointment that she was licensed only to give him a back facial. But she said in an interview with The Times that he got fully undressed and directed her toward his groin. While she said there was no sexual contact, she believed that he was seeking more than a professional massage. Watson and his lawyers have said he was only seeking massages. The lawyers have acknowledged that Watson had sexual contact with three of the women who have sued him. But the sexual acts took place after the massages, they said, and were initiated by the women. Asked whether he was asserting that Watson never had sexual contact with any other massage therapists, Hardin didn’t respond. Another woman who spoke to The Times, a physical therapist who did not sue Watson, said he initiated sexual contact in all three of their appointments. This woman, who spoke on condition of anonymity to protect her privacy, said in an interview she began by working on Watson’s back. But when he flipped over, she said his demeanor and voice changed, and he began aggressively dictating where he wanted her to touch him. In their first session, she said he got into the happy baby yoga pose — on his back with his feet in his hands — and asked her to massage between his testicles and anus. She laughed off the request but said he grabbed her wrist and put her hand there. The woman said Watson twice initiated sexual intercourse, once by pulling down the scrubs she was wearing. She and Watson knew each other from around town and were on friendly terms, and she admitted she let him proceed with these sexual acts. “I just didn’t know how to tell him no,” she said.

Success
I genuinely feel for Browns fans. Most seemed to be against this signing when it happened. Teams have to start drawing some lines. Winning is NOT everything. There are obviously players who have done questionable things on every squad - but there is a line, and we kind of know it when we see it.

YoloinOhio
I don’t know which is a worse look from the browns FO and ownership - that they did know all this and did this deal anyway or their “extensive research” was so shoddy they didn’t know all of this and just did this egregious fully guaranteed deal anyway. They crazy part is they didn’t NEED to do this - they chased him and chased him and begged him to lead their franchise. They brought this all on themselves. Jimmy Haslam’s ego has no bounds. Their “Chief Strategic Officer” Paul Depodesta is cashing paychecks with a ski mask on.

Whether that could be a basis to void the trade would depend on a whole lot of things, like the extent of their knowledge, what they disclosed to the Browns, and of course, what are legitimate grounds to void a trade under league rules. I mean, just based on the publicly available information, the Browns certainly knew they were trading for a lowlife pervert, or if they didn't, they're complete idiots. Only ONE team was stupid enough to make that trade and give him that contract. Only ONE owner is THAT much of an idiot. I just texted condolences to my Browns fan buddy. I think he still has his head in the sand, but I’m not sure if he was aware of lady #24 and the story. I think sports talk shows are probably the ONLY ones who don’t just want this to be over. Even Watson’s attorney, the guy collecting fees, should want this to be over because, while he’s making a name for himself……..it’s certainly not putting him in a positive light. Not sure who made the statement but it was along the lines of 3 or 4 of the now 24 are truthful and the others are all lying. That’s such a load because the attorneys vet this stuff incredibly well because anything can kill there case. Keep in mind the payouts here are in the 10s of millions so no way do they let alleged victims slide by. Also it’s statistically improbable to have 24 people all have a similar story unless they all got together to make it up. Even then that lie would have been brought forth already. I’m betting at least 95% of these women are telling a truthful version as they perceived it. if youve ever had a friend or family affected by this type of behaviour you would understand the guilt to disbelief ratio. And I pray you never do have to experience it. from my perspective this guy is guilty as hell and no I’m no attorney but if It smells like trash, looks like trash, and is thrown in the trash barrel….well it’s trash.
