mushypeaches
It's not far fetched to think about Stefon Diggs as a potential future Hall of Famer So to think about the trade in those terms, plus the impact he's had on Josh and the entire WR room is truly amazing. I'll trade the #22 pick for that all day long if it helps give you a legitimate shot at the Lombardi trophy 2 1
BuffaloBill
Remember when the common thought was “this guy is a locker room problem.” I think the Bills have found some reasons to question the notion.

Also funny how he goofed on Wawrow for saying “Buck up, Buddy”
BillsPride12
I think at this point everybody on the team realizes that they have the potential to win a Super Bowl. Check your ego's at the door, to hell with stats and accolades just go out there and play as a TEAM and they can beat anybody in this league.....You love to see it! 2
SF Bills Fan
I think Diggs has matured a ton since his days in Minnesota. First off, it is a vastly different culture in Buffalo and he bought in. He has had the accolades and has proven himself. He was arguably the best receiver in the league last year. He doesn't needs stats to prove himself anymore. Now he wants the glory and the ring. He knows it will take the whole team to get that. We all saw him standing on the field watching the Chiefs last year. Him or Sanders- whatever it takes to be the team out there celebrating- he gets it.
jimmy10
The Diggs trade really seems like a win-win. Vikes drafted a bright young WR prospect, the Bills got a known quantity who really just needed a fresh start. Love it.

Oh, darn it, I wanted it to be real 🤣.......You can tell he likes to have a good time, sort of the eternal kid jokester, those people are great, that and the competitiveness is probably what makes him and Josh so close. They remind me of each other in a lot of ways. Edited October 15, 2021 by KzooMike

wjag
My take on Diggs is this. Last year he established his bona fides. He elevated his name and reputation to the top of the league. And then they came up one game short. This year he knows his payday is coming. Now it’s about getting to that 21st game. Whatever it takes.

Whatever it takes. He wants to be a legend. And he senses the same in Josh. They gave him a C this year and part of growing as a star performer turned leader is checking your ego at the door. It takes genuine confidence to say "it's OK, you can have the ball. I'll get mine". People sense that and follow that. Payday is probably coming, but the vibes I'm feeling around OBD say Super Bowl may be coming in the near future. Real championship attitudes abound.

babulator
I feel like in Minnesota he was fighting for recognition and attention, respect maybe even. With an aloof QB a run heavy attack and a WR ahead of him, I feel like as good as he is, he was fighting for those opportunities and the teams respect (coaches and QB more than anything). Here, he obviously doesn't have to fight for it and so he's found a his comfort zone. He's clearly the #1 on the team, he has a great relationship with his QB and we're now a pass heavy attack. The team and the fans have embraced him and his coach is a straight shooter. It's easy to see the stark contrast between the two situations and is no wonder why he's gone on to do the things he has. Add a legitimate chance to win one and yeah... night and day. He's clearly a guy that wears his emotions on his sleeve and his teammates rally behind him. I'm happy for him and us. Go Bills! WhoTom
I remember when we had Moulds and Price during one of Bledsoe's good years. Moulds was clearly the #1, which got him double-covered a lot. He was cool with being the decoy and letting Peerless get more catches, as long as they were winning games. A winner wants to win games, not stats. Stefon is a winner. I was happy with the trade when it happened, and I'm even happier with the results.
Numark3
I lived in Minnesota for his entire career there and the consensus from most fans was that he was not a bad teammate or lockeroom issue. In fact, when he was traded, a lot of players were upset to lose him. the consensus was that Kirk cousins was a gigantic ####### and diggs hated being around him. This is supported by weird stories of Kirk being an #######
machine gun kelly
Every week, this team is going to use resources based on their opponent. More Diggs and Beasley one week, more Knox and Sanders another. It’s going to keep messing with opponents defensive coordinators. Love this team and never thought we’d ever have this amount of depth practically everywhere.
Buffalo Boy
This is just another example of the whole team towing the same line/ part of the process. Also, our receiving core was the walking wounded at the end of last season. ALL of our big guns. They know it’s a long season and over the course of it they are all going to get their receptions. They also know that whoever is playing receiver in the playoffs needs to have a rapport with Josh. Think about how much depth we have and compare it to Ja’s first season receiving Corp. CRAZY difference.
Mat68
The offense is more explosive and dangerous when Diggs can get down the field. Last year he had to play closer to the line and get open quick underneath. Over the top and in space Diggs is dangerous. As the season goes on we will see more of that.
