My take too, and there were some passibly knowledgeable posts with insight about the Bills players and strengths scattered between the less informed nonsense.

There was an expected  amount of homerism, but no reason for them to think their team can't get a win.

I have visited worse boards.. Going to be a tough game.

I agree. Seemed like measured, accurate takes to me. If I was a Rams fan I would pick them to win too. But as a Bills fan I'm picking my team, especially since it is a home game. These teams are fairly evenly matched on paper. Both fan bases should expect it to be a tough game.

They don't really respect the Bills defense after last weeks performance.

They arent exactly wrong. Wallace is a liability on the outside and the middle of the field was exposed without Edmunds.

They also mentioned how we struggle to beat good teams(and believe the Rams are a good team) dating back to last season which is also 100% true.

That’s all fair.

I'm old, and I've been on TBD a long time.  Why do you say that?

When Woods was here someone started a thread, apropos of nothing, titled "Robert Woods is $#%#$% crazy" - it got a lot of play at the time - and there are some of us on here that still bring it up

Now that all the fun has been sucked from that - feel free to proceed with thread 😛

I'll be up front. I don't think Buffalo wins this game. This feeling comes down to years of abuse at the ends of Bills. I support them and always will but I don't know if I will ever shake the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

This game feels alot like the Eagles game last year.

How safety protocol impacts the Rams ahead of trip to Bills

David De Cristofaro

Prior to the NFL’s schedule release each year, teams can make a request to have cross-country games on back-to-back weeks. In the case of the Rams, they requested that the league’s schedule-makers put the Eagles and Bills next to each other on their schedule. That happened, as the Rams beat the Eagles last week in Philadelphia and have Buffalo up next.

The idea gives teams the option to avoid long trips. Instead of going back to Los Angeles, the Rams hoped to just travel right to Buffalo.

But thanks to Covid-19, that’s not happening

A lot of Buffalo Bills PTSD posters in this thread lately.

Hopefully this team comes out and proves to us that they’re ready to take that next step and start slaying some, perceived to be, good teams.

It's been 25 years since this team had an offence that could go punch for punch with anybody.  It's gonna take some getting used too.

That said, I'm ok with a 38-35 Bills win.  So's my cardiologist.

Oh, i'm definitely not saying i'm immune.  I get it.

In regards to the Philly game though, this team is noticeably different than the Buffalo team that got smoked by the Eagles.  Have to prove it on the field though.

The prospects of Levi Wallace trying to hang with either Kupp or Woods also doesn't seem that ideal.

I feel better with Levi against these two than I do parker and williams from last week.  I am concerned about those two across the middle if at least edmunds cant go.

Um, No.  Watch the film.  Davis lines up at WR when we run 4 wide.  He does not do the things that Knox was asked to do.

That would be Kroft (ok, but...) or Gilliam (can't handle the blocking part yet).

4 wr sets are replacing knox...  Davis is even lining up in the slot and chipping pass rushers.

Davis is taking his snaps

I didn’t read the entire thread over there so I’ll take your word for it, but the few I did read showed a lack of knowledge of our team and a lack of respect. Things like Ramsey will just take out Diggs so our pass game will be stopped, for example. I don’t expect anyone to pencil us in for the SB, either, btw, in order to illustrate respect.

I don't know how much Ramsey is a game film nut, but if he thinks that it's the same Josh that he trolled 2 yrs ago, he'll be in for a surprise when he tries to jump a throw.

Watching Aaron Donald play his position is a wonder to behold. Watching him do it against the Bills is a nightmare to despise!

It reminds me of the early days of Lawrence Taylor back in the early 80s. NFL offenses had to tailor their game plans to at least mitigate the damage he was going to do.

I hope Bobby Johnson is burning the midnight oil to come up with some kind of blocking scheme for that monster. Or we're in for a long day.

Yep. Donald is a FORCE on the DL and he’s gonna have to be accounted for on every play. Every. Play. I’m glad we have a mobile QB and an OC who knows how to design rolling pockets.

IIRC he already has said that Josh is good, after his trashing of him. I actually like Ramsey. I think he just says stuff to rile up his opponents and get them off their game as opposed to really believing it.

I'm paraphrasing but I recall reading something about him when in college he used to search for the social media of the girlfriends of the quarterbacks he was about to face, and harass them on twitter and Facebook, etc, the week before the game. They would report back to their QB bfs who got fuming mad and threatened revenge, but Ramsey just used it to his advantage to get them off their game. Then when he got to the NFL he stopped doing it because he said these crazy dudes got wives and they will shoot you if you do stuff like that to them. I thought that was hilarious. ;)

Should be a good matchup on Sunday because Diggs can match him trash talk for trash talk on the field. Diggs is one of the most self-confident, competitive players I’ve seen and I don’t know if Ramsey is used to that kind of opponent. Have they faced each other in the past?

EDIT: In ‘16, the Jags played the Vikings and Diggs had 3 for 55 yards while Ramsey had one tackle and an assist in a game the Vikings won. Doesn’t say much and that’s the only game I can find where their teams faced each other.

Yeah should be fun. Diggs is so much fun to watch. A quick search showed they likely played once, when Ramsey was a rook. The Vikings won. Diggs had 3-55 including a 45 yarder. Not sure about the coverages though.

You must have posted this info when I was doing my edit. Like I said, that matchup doesn’t tell us much.

Ha. Just posted that. Can't wait to watch this snarknado.

Understandably so. I am equal parts confident that this team can play with anyone in the league and terrified they will get exposed as frauds at any minute.

BBFS is a powerful force.  Do not succumb to the dark side.
