That may be end up being a positive too. Maybe it is just, “these guys know how to evaluate receivers?” That would be a great omen for Hodgins and future picks.

The Bills scouts did a ton of work on WR this past year because they thought they were taking one early. So I won’t be surprised if they end up with one or two gems because of the extensive work they did on the class. I believe there is video of Beane from the combine openly rooting for Gabe Davis to run a slower 40 so he could have a chance to get him later.

From the article on @HappyDayspost a bit ago.

https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2020/08/bills-training-camp-2020-stefon-diggs-frustrates-defense-turns-in-big-day-day-8-observations.html

Orchard Park, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde said on Monday that this year’s training camp has been the most competitive between the offense and defense since he arrived in Buffalo in 2017.

That was the perfect preview for a day where the offense shined behind the playmaking of new star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

The defense was visibly frustrated with the amount of catches Diggs was able to make through practice. In an early 11-on-11 session, Diggs caught passes on three straight plays. Then later on quarterback Josh Allen went to Diggs on four straight plays, all ending in completions for the offense.

3. Fight breaks out

Cox Jr. was not happy about losing those reps and a skirmish ensued as several players started to wrestle in a pile that quickly included all members of both lines. Ty Nsekhe was one of the aggressors and had to be pulled out of the pile. Quinton Jefferson seemed to be trying to either keep the peace or get into the action as he entered the middle of the pile. Tempers eventually calmed down and the coaching staff got the players right back to practice.

Good Grief I can't wait for the season to start!

Some may have thought that Gabe Davis would be a long shot to have an impact on this team because of the veterans we have in place and because he was taken in the 4th round... but look at DeAndre Hopkins or our very own in Stefon Diggs... doesn’t happen a lot but it does happen... looks like we may have found the next hidden gem in this years draft class...

Deandre Hopkins was a 1st round pick. I think you’re thinking of Martavis Bryant.

Give me 3 months in their bubble I'd have worked my way through most of the 53. Even the oline. I like something to hold onto. Just not Josh. His face looks like it is made from plasticine.

Of course Thad is the one to tweet this.

The guy is like clockwork when he tweets about the Bills.

Backhanded compliment or dump on Josh? Check.

Instill some fear into Bills mafia by alluding to issues in the locker room?Check.

What a douche.

Thad Brown didn't tweet this. Somebody named Danielle did.

This was fun .. Matt Parrino desperately trying to not give anything away .. then at 20:00 minutes he talks about Ty and Cody making great blocks on a Singletary run .. he also mentioned whether they platoon Daryl Williams and Ty .... things that make you go hmmmmm

I'm starting to think you already went after Josh and he denied you. It's alright man, you still have the other 52.

Joe Marino podcast said based on everything he’s seen and heard, even though the reporters can’t report it... Ford is going to play RG

Davis looks like a possible player.  I think he looks like the 4th wr and primary outside wr behind Diggs and Brown.  Im really liking the roster.  Taking into account offense and defense Buffalo is one of the deepest teams in the league.  If Allen reaches the lower reaches of his potential Buffalo give KC all they want.

Add more highlights/news about Ford and Darryl Williams forming a fearsome duo on the right side of the O-line to Dan's top three and we are really cooking. Must have been the 90s since the last time the Bills had a good RG/RT, a strong WR corps, and a QB who could hit the deep ball all at once. These 19 days until the opener can't come fast enough...

"Willie Evans, buffalo, back" !!!

 7th from bottom, first column.

Was our Gym Teacher and basketball (and track and other things) coach at City Honors in the 80s and 90s (and maybe later).  Awesome father figure who coached the right way.  Liked to call everybody by last name, military style.  Made Buffalo his life-long home.

With a scrimmage Thursday I'm guessing tomorrow is going to be a light/walk through day.

The Bills have four practices left in training camp before they wrap-up on Sunday and begin in-season practices on Monday to prep for Week 1.

Seems like they want to get things set pretty damn soon.
